actually, i'm in hamer, but i believe it's the same place...

i was really trying to be on "pedro's mountain" because i remember the signs for it all through north carolina when we drove through there many years ago, but alas i could find no recent reference..

First time I ever heard of South of the Border was when many of my friends went to Parris Island boot camp. It was almost like it was worth joining the Marines just so you can stop at South of the Border.
