I have never liked dildos.

Every man I have ever been with has loved to use them on me, though. I don't really understand it, but I've played along.

I've never gotten 'hot' from the idea or feeling of either using them or having them used on me. I've used them in all positions and different shapes and sizes to no avail. I'd much rather have the real thing (if a penis is around ) or masturbate with my fingers. Simply having something inside my vagina that is not real and warm and flexible and attached to a thrusting body does nothing for me.

What are your thoughts on dildos? Do you get hot thinking about using them on yourself? Thinking about a partner using them on you? How do you use them? What type? Do you like realistic ones (like those shown above) or is there another style that you prefer?

I definitely would rather have the real thing; a dildo just does not appeal to me. However, I would be interested in having a girl do me with a strap-on. That's about the only dildo-related fantasy I have.

I have a vibrator, but it's not shaped like a penis; I've found those don't do well for clitoral stimulation.

My experience has been close to yours. mm. They don't really do it for me. I do, however, have a lovely new vibrator that ain't half bad.

Although I've been brutally honest with my guy about it, he's explained that he likes to see me get off and he loves watching the act of penetration. The original idea was to shoot pics of him penetrating me, but that ain't all that easy. He did use the dildo on me once while he was pleasuring me orally which wasn't bad at all ... Other than that little combo number, the idea doesn't excite me at all. Don't ask me why I have two of them. And yes, we've done that, too. Didn't work for me. And I never use either one alone.

I have to say I share your sentiments, I would rather go for the real thing. The hunk of silicon or whatever the heck they are made of doesn't really do it for me.

Just for the record, my dogs aren't into dildos either.

I agree though, if a couple feels that something may perk up their love life and they both are in agreement, that's awesome. For me flying solo, I am not interested in a dildo.

When flying solo and want to have the penetration feeling along with clitoral stimulation I like to use a dildo. I have never been able to reach properly for my fingers to do any thing for me. Maybe its like how you can't really tickle yourself??? I just don't do it for me.

I have used dildos before and whether I can get off from them or not depends on my mood. I have to be really horny to get off with a piece of plastic...it helps if it vibrates. Then it just can't be helped. But the vision and idea of a dildo? Eh, I can take it or leave it. It can be great, when used well. They are not my favourite sex toy though.
