Hello to everyone, I'm the resident cranky, curmudgeonly jerk. I hope I can make your stay either more or less pleasant with my cynicism. I demand an offering of beer.
But seriously, enjoy the stay, don't take anything I say too seriously, and don't take anything I say with emoticons seriously at all. Also, there's porn, dive in but don't forget to come back to the rest of the board. It's fun up here. Quote:

everybody relax now, I'm here
Sorry I'm late. I imagine you are all wondering why I called this meeting. Umm, somebody nudge the guy in the corner -- is he sleeping? Oh, dead. Sorry. Am I really THAT late? Well ... I'm here now, anyway.

The one question I always ask myself as I write something for the internet is; Who the hell is ever going to see what I am writing? See, most of my internet writing is seen by no one but myself. I mean no one. Probably in the area of 70%. Then there's my typed entrees that are seen, and read, by less than five people. I'd say that would be about 25%. The other 5% is probably read by eight to maybe twenty-five people. So, I always ask myself, How much time do I want to spend on a post of one kind or another? Do I want to proofread? If so, do I want to even bother to correct misspellings and errors in punctuation? Anyway, since I've spent the last five minutes on this goofy post, I might as well proofread, make any necessary changes, and then click on the button.

Just kidding. Welcome, and don't fret too much about misspellings and punctuation errors. They only drive a few of us batty.

I want to say that Galileo, you have been a most refreshing addition to these parts. I have really enjoyed reading what you have to say.

hi
bedrock here, hello all. nice community.
thought I'd post a little more than just "hi"... just a little more!... Im just an average nerd (moderately), avg computer knowledge, avg business sense & internet skills. I work for a company that sells advertising online. I am looking to develop my internet marketing knowledge, I do some eBaying. cool to hang out with, like to drink social, hard liquor, I handle it well, but I been on the anti-social side lately, feel like I need to get things together, and kinda upset at myself for not being rich like I said I would be when I was this age! like 80% prob that found this forum, I was lookin for free sites (porn)... thats what happens after a while of working on the computer. never been a part of any online forum steadily... let see how it works, you people seem nice thanks. (I know, I need to update some info.... I could have done that instead of write all this worthless crap!) |

Good day all! This board looks like the perfect place to feed my hardcore procrastination addiction haha.
Edit: Say, just out of interest what exactly does that Power bar at the bottom lefthand corner of my post-profile represent?????? Last edited by IdeoFunk; 01-29-2008 at 07:39 PM.. |

Hi fadi, bnsf1013 and IdeoFunk! Welcome to TFP.
The power button tells members if you're on or off. Line, that is.
