Have you been cheated on by your girlfriend? Did you see it coming or not? Do you think she's cheating now? Here are some signs I learned when a girlfriend cheated on me.

She starts spending more time at her Mother's place.

It takes an hour to do her hair and make up to go to the gym when before no make up and a ponytail would suffice.

Before going to work/school she empties her closet and tries half her clothes on.

She doesn't ask anymore if what she is wearing makes her look fat.

She tells you her male friend she has coffee with at work/school is gay.

She loses weight but says she's not on a diet.

When the phone rings and she answers her face lights up.When you answer the phone,the other person hangs up.

She get's the veins lasered off her legs.

She now uses that tone with you,the tone she only used to use when she didn't like someone.

The methods used to get her motor running now visibly and verbally turn her off.

When you catch her in a lie,she gives extended explanations and the longer they continue,the less sense they make.

She takes great interest in things she previously never had an interest in.

The only time she doesn't try to look good is around you.

She not only asks when you are going out with the boys again,but encourages it.

She repeatedly asks you if you are bored and if you've thought about dating other people.

She is not upset that you haven't returned her calls for 2 days.

Any other signs?

When your best friend tells you that he's sorry for fucking your girlfriend, and another friend tells you she made him the same offer but turned her down. Not very subtle, but it happened.

She's now married to him, and she gained about 150 pounds.

She starts commenting on how she definitely, positively, most certainly, absolutely DOESN'T have any feelings for that guy.

In the middle of conversations, she'll allude to something ambiguous and just kind of zone out for a second with a slight smile then pretend like nothing happened.

Never had a girlfriend cheat on me, but I'll share a recent episode from one of my friends:

His girlfriend who lived in Texas (it was a long distance relationship) said her grandfather died and went to Wisconson to be with her aunt for a bit and for the funeral and stuff, preventing her from being able to visit on a weekend they had planned on. He missed talking to her and she never gave him the number so he used some of his connections (PI's, cops, etc) to find out the number to the place and gave her a call. She was upset that he called. He felt bad so he wanted to send flowers so he had his PI friend find out the address for him (didn't want to call and get her upset again). Well, the PI found out the address...and regretfully showed him some "disturbing" pictures he got of her with this other guy there. Not to mention he found out her grandparents were alive and well. My friend called her and asked her if there was anything she wanted to tell him - she came out with it and said that she had planned on staying in WI until he got sick of never being able to see her and broke up with her.

Pretty cruel if you ask me, saying your grandfather died in order to cheat on someone.

In my RECENT personal experience she became really busy, vchanged stories and told me half truths. I tried to believe her but everyone else told me differently. She is now 18 and pregnant to someone from work (from when i was supposedly with her), i'd add that one to the list.

She gets pregnant when you havn't had sex.

hmmm? It sux, but not mcuh you can do. Can't trust MOST (not all) women i suppose.

i've never really had it happen to me, but there was a time when i knew that it was going to happen.

Basically what had happened was that we had both kinda lost interest in each other (well, i know i had lost interest, and i suspect that she felt the same)... phone calls were becoming less frequent, we werent really meeting up as much either.

anyway, fast forward a few days, and we were meant to go out for dinner and drinks, but she had a killer uni assignment to do, so she cancelled on me, and i ended up going out with mates. Lo and behold, at the second pub that we went to, there she was, with a very sexy outfit, a new hair style, and full makeup on... trying very very hard to look inconspicious.

I pretended i hadnt noticed her, and a few seconds later saw her slinking off outside. The next day, i called her, and we broke up.
Im pretty sure that she was meeting someone else there (something that she denied), and i think if i hadnt gone to that pub, i probably would have been cheated on.

So i would say watch out for any serious drop in frequency of meetings/speaking (BTW, its perfectly natural for this to occur during high stress periods, say in the exam period, or before a deadline, etc... but if it happens over an extended period of time, then you should start questioning it.)
