Help with 3rd hard drive
I pulled 2 old hard drives out from my old computers and I am wondering how I can hook them up to mine so I can see if I can recover any files off of them. any advice? BTW I already have two hard drives hooked up now, a master and a slave(obviously), and i was hoping i wouldn't have to pull one out to put another one in.

external enclosures that convert ide to usb, or a pci ide card. what about your other ide chain? 2 cd drives?

yes you can do that. the jumper config should be on the drive, or you can look it up via model # search on the company's site. in bios as long as the ide's are set auto detect you will be fine.

I always get errors with CSEL. I'd simply set the hard drive to slave if it's on the middle connector.
