just read the post about the body builder who needed to shave his touch...tousch...tuush...:confused: butt, and I was wondering, for guys who shave in the groin area, what do you generally do. Like shave it all off? above and below? shapes (hehe if so im gonna do a star :P) and what about the arears around the groin, do you keep then long or try and regulate, and doesn't that show up when you wear shorts? Im a runner and frisbee player also, so i do wear shorts that tend to ride up sometimes, so im a bit worried. anywya, any help is appreciated.

yes it does. You'll find you have a tendancy to stick together when you sweat as well. Powder works well.

Yep, anything "medicated" will work on the itch. I have some knock-off of goldbond that I got at walmart. works well, but smells like peppermint.

Just recently shaved mine all off. Scared the hell outta the wifey, but she liked the sex. The thing about 2 baldies meeting up kind of drove her wild. Didn't make any difference to me. Yep, shaft and testicles, and then trim the rest. Shaving keeps skin smooth, and makes it enjoyable. You don't have to shave it all, but also remember this, would you like to go down on a girl that has never seen a razor? Think about what she feels.

Unless you're willing to commit to shaving, go with just a trim - the prickly hairs growing back do hurt a bit. (Goes for both genders, actually.) That said, when my husband shaves or even trims, it makes it a lot more fun to go down on him ;)

The benefits:

- No ballsack odor
- Easier to go down on
- Makes your wang look somewhat larger
- You NEVER have to scratch
- It really doesn't itch if you do a close shave (if it does, use powder)
- No danger of fugly pubes sticking out of batching suit/boxers are inpportune times.
- Shave your asscrack hair at the same time. Seriously. It's so much better to just not have any hair back there.

Drawbacks:

- Makes some people feel like they aren't a real man any more. Frankly, I'm far more worried about the penis than I am about the stupid ugly hair around it.
- Can itch like a mofo if you don't shave every 2-3 days.
- Sack can and will stick to leg if you don't powder. Not really a big deal though. Sweat isn't exactly superglue.

i have a hairy stomach, that has a really good happy trail, so i just keep the happy trail going down. and i also shave my chest to match (but it doesnt connect to the rest) its just a little wider than the rest of the trail, and not as thick...

Get yourself a pair of nail scissors and just trim away. There's not much to it really, just make sure that it's even.

SHAVE your sack though, the re-growth doesn't itch down there and it's pretty difficult to cut yourselfas long as you're in the shower when you're doing it and using shave-cream.

The easy way is to go buy a beard trimmer and clip on the length guide that suits you.

OH, and I agree that ladies like a shaved sack, but it WILL itch. But the more you do it, the easier it gets and the less it itches.

Worth it, IMHO.

I think sack-itchage is minimal. Even when I first began shaving, I never had any noticable problems with my scrotum itching.

But cripes, the insides of the thighs is what gets me. I don't even attempt shaving there anymore.

What's the big deal anyways? I mean, shaved or not, you're still gonna hit it right? So you get a few hairs in your mouth... Deal with it! Maybe they don't wanna shave because of the red bumps later on, or the scratchy little stubble, or they just don't wanna, but that's no reason not to give it some attention right?

I use just a regular razor on mine as well. It starts to get prickly after a week or so, but not that bad cause you just shave again. It only takes a few seconds.

I guess if you wanted you could try waxing it *OUCH*, just kidding. I know people who have also tried using the creams like nair, but it burns really bad and is a little dangerous. The razor isnt that bad once you get used to it, and there are rarely mistakes made.

I usually use an electric beard trimmer for the rest.

try holding a warm washcloth over the area for a while before you shave it with a razor. it will make the hair softer and easier to shave. also, it=f it is long...trim it first. trimming will require you to spend less time with the razor

I would have said women just like pubes well trimmed. But from what I see here I'm wrong. Personally I just couldn't shave.

Can't do it every day, because the skin gets irritated very easily when the hair starts growing back. Once every three days seems to be optimal for me.

Good point. But the hair does not have to be THAT long - if you get it done professionally (and I suggest you do!), they usually can get at it with only a few millimetres protruding - the beauty of it is as time goes on, less and less hair grows back and it is finer - none of the itchiness.

Temprary fluffiness does not have to be endured for too long - maybe a couple of days every three to four weeks - and it is fluffiness, not sandpaper!

You should try it sometime...

I've changed my opinion, over the years. As a younger man, any amount of pubic hair was acceptable, as long as I got some! But now, I find most heavy bushes to be a turn-off. A trim, at minimum, is called for-- show good grooming, a woman is taking care of herself down there. Shaving is a definite bonus!
