You can even try to find someone who does brazilian waxes for men. It won't be cheap though.

shAzb0t 03-01-2005 11:39 AM

just a follow-up to when i was just starting to shave down there, i've gotten into a nice routine that seems to work well.

first time i shaved pretty much everything, i was bald as a...naked mole rat. whew, i thought of something, good. the next week was itchy hell as i sometimes walked around awkwardly so i didn't get any friction. anyways, after a while the itch disappeared.

once i got into the routine i was able to shave around the shaft and balls and under my bellybutton easily, and just used the beard trimmer on my braun shaver every few months to trim the long hairs i didn't shave.

pretty much twice a week i would just take a mach3 turbo and a bar of soap with me to the shower in addition to the body wash and shampoo, turn the shower on low, and just use the soap instead of shave gel. as people have said, your skin does get used to it. i used to spend about 10 minutes just making sure i got everything and being safe. now it only takes a few minutes, as i'm not worried about a lot of irritation.

so once again, mach3 turbo and soap, it's simple. good luck to everyone, and the rumour about your unit looking bigger after you shave ... is true.

My girl currently shaves, and it comes out pretty good, but grows back quick, I shave completly and she loves the way it comes out. and.. definetly gives her a little incentive to go down on me..
However... I'm trying to talk her into waxing... she's extremly hessistant due to the fear of pain.. how can i convince her?

slushi999 03-07-2005 02:57 PM

ive been thinking of this all day. and right when im about to post. its the first thread. this is badd ass!!!....im gonna give it a shot tonite. but so nervous about the shaving the balls....like it gets ticklesh when im trying to do it....

so everyone is shaving its ok to shave the balls on the skin rite? just soak them in warm water, use sensitve gel screen and a Mach 3 ravor rite?

I like my love hairy. He's hairy all over, and so having a nice little clean patch, right in the middle of his body would be bizarre. It's nice to have it trimmed so I don't get it tickling my nose, but I like the look of it.

I on the otherhand trim it really short in the middle and have it perfectly smooth on the outerbits of my mons. A little triangle of fuzz, but bare labia and so forth. I tried shaving the entire thing for a while, but I'm too fat to do that. The shock of hair seperates the flab a bit!

Wow we're like almost exactly the same. I've shaved the whole thing and found when they started to grow back (like... that day or the next morning), that when I walked around, they would rub against eachother and I would get seriously irritated. So now I just keep it buzzed and the rest bald except for my little landing strip.

I also would like to not post about my dick size and say hello

lordkos 04-02-2005 07:13 AM

I have always shaven my pubes and every girl i have been with has liked it so im gonna keep doing it

brachphotograph 04-06-2005 08:10 AM

I do shave completely. I shave the balls, shaft and surroundings. I also shave inside my crack. After I shave, I coat the area with Johnson&Johnson's Medicated baby powder. I apply it twice a day for about 2 days after shaving and then I'm good to go without razor bumps. I used to shave my butt entirely but from sitting down too much and trying different solutions to stop the bumps, I just decided not to do that anymore. I am considering to buy some Veet to use on my butt. From reading other posts here I think Veet would/should be safe enough to use on my butt, but not inside the crack. Any input on this would be helpful!

v_Jaded_v 05-08-2005 12:47 AM

Ok guys....you can't say that every vagina feels the same to you...It's the same thing with dicks...Size can matter depending on what size fits best in you...If it's too big it can hurt, if it's too small it won't always go deep enough...Shape is important as well. You can't fit a square peg into a round hole so the saying goes. Personally, I think an average dick with a nice shape head is ideal for me. Besides, giving head on a large dick will tire your jaw a lot more quickly....I get off on giving head on an average size because I can pleasure my partner a lot longer without having to worry about wether or not my jaw will lock up from stretching it so far open....

bigwolf 05-12-2005 01:20 AM

Not to beat a dead horse to a point here, but if some guys put as much thought as the do into worrying about the size of capt. timmy, into doing other things in this world it might be scary.

...........Mind you now I am going to go cry myself to sleep because I have been afflicted with a dinkus minorus............

HAHAHA...No, actually, it's quite true. I've been with a number of different shapes and sizes...and smaller I think is actually better, though it totally depends on the operator of said boat. I like smaller because it's easier for bjs...I don't feel like I have to jack my jaw open and deep-throating is a snap.

KCMadcow 05-15-2005 08:24 PM

I've done the whole shaving thing, and it only got irritated the first few times. I don't do it all that often, just when it's getting past the comfort zone. What I do much more often is just trim it down to nothing with an electric clippers. Yeah, you have to be careful, and I nick the sac everyonce and awhile, but they seem to heal faster than when I nick my face shaving (probably because of the better blood flow down there, haha).

It really hasn't bothered me (irritation or itching) for years, because I just got used to it after the first few times. Now granted, it sucked, but it wears off. I'm one of those unfortunate guys, I really didn't grow body hair until after I wanted it. Every guy wants hair on his chest when he's 16-17, but I had nothing. I really didn't need to shave my face even regularly until I was about 19. Then, when I hit about 22, God played a great joke. I got hair everywhere...chest, face, neck, back. Haha, that was a good one...thanks. To not look creepy at the beach or anything, I have to at least shave my back, and I trim (or "manscape) my chest and stomach for grooming purposes. That REALLY itched the first 2-3 times, but now it's getting used to it. You just have to suffer through the irritation for the first times you do it, but then like your face, your body and skin adjust. Or at least mine did. I trim down there all the way to a 1 clipper settings, and it doesn't bug me at all...

tacobaal 05-17-2005 11:53 AM

i just bought some home wax strips, probably only going to use them on my chest.. the thought of doing that down there (especially on the 2 little troopers) kinda makes me physicly sick :S

will probably try it around the base though, cant picture it hurting too bad... lol famous last words i know :p

getwonk'd 05-17-2005 06:51 PM

Visine works wonders after shaving. I didn't believe it at first but after trying it, it does work. Just a few drops and your good to go, no bumps or irritation. I guess it gives "get the red out" new meaning.

That is exactly what I use, with no problems at all. I used to use the sally hansen strips, but just switched to the Nair brand and I like them a lot better, they seem to get more of the hairs in a single pass. Don't worry, it may hurt a little the first time, but it gets better, and you can't beat the results.

I'm picking up my girlfriend from the airport on Friday; I sent her a pic and she seems to really like it. She's looking forward to giving me a blowjob when she gets here, and so am I :D

What about awkward positions where the penis might pop out of it's too small. Maybe that's a gauge? Maybe it's not important? What do you think?

Lonewonderer22 06-21-2005 12:40 AM

I agree with you in full my man. And on your question burnRedDress...just dont use that position. Try something else. You could try a deep penetration positions to make it seem bigger. That could work wonders for you. I have a Karma Sutra book if you would like to know some positions. But thats for a different thread so just e-mail me if you would like to know. Ok, see your question isnt hard to change. Now Im no expert at increasing verticals or anything but have you ever thought that an average man doesnt spend time leaping through the air to catch a ball or spend time in the gym squating 300lb a day? You can severely increase your vertical by an abudance of jumping daily (i.e. playing basketball) and by working out. I found this out after one year of basketball. I went from having a 24" vertical to having a 32" vertical. And 36" isnt that big in NBA standards...you heard of Mugsy Bo before? (incorrect spelling of that name most likely.)

I shave my balls every day. I've read posts from newbie shavers about ingrowns, itches, etc. I've found that the more you do it the more the skin gets accustomed to it. Look at all the men that shave their face today. There are no ingrowns, itching, etc. because they've been shaving there for years. Otherwise there would be a lot of bearded men walkin around, right? Well, using that logic, say you are 28, and never shaved down there. Yep, its' going to be a little rough at first, BE PERSISTENT. That's the key! It will pay off in a big way, no pun intended.

The first time I shaved it felt like the first time I'd REALLY seen my cock before. And god, was it hard! Wife loves to lick my smooth sack too, oooooooooooh yea!

Are there any comments on "the more you do it the more the skin gets accustomed to it"? I trim my chach because I worry about the hassle and scaring of ingrowns and irritation. However, I would gladly convert to the razor if I thought I could adjust. Any advice for a girl that wants to be smooth? (ps mmmm, smooth tasties, im with the wife on that one)

I always shave my balls and keep trim down there. Even when I'm not getting laid. Just mantain it every time you shower. Women like it trim down there. It seems cleaner also. Say no to bush!! :D

I find that keeping it shaved is the only way to go. I have been shaving for 8 years now and would not have it any other way. My lady loves it that way, the smoothness and as she says, no hair gets in the way when going down on me.
Overall, it is a win-win situation. Go for it guys

chelsea_9 08-07-2005 10:52 PM

tried it for the first time about a week ago. just because i had a special request to do so.

paaaain. i did not take to it well. i used a brand new razor and everything, and i still got some mad razor burn.
but my kinky friend informed me using cucumber gel and/or aloe vera afterwards soothes and smoothes the skin quite nicely.

but im a fan of the bare skin, and probably will be more once i have a better experience... mainly one without razor burn.

edit: and i should add that i do enjoy a smooth area on guys. cuts down on any unwanted hairs finding their way into your mouth during oral... and the unpleasent balls smell.

WedWabbit 08-09-2005 07:40 AM

Personally I use the little scissors mostly used for fingernail clippings to trim my pubs. I like my woman to be shaved so when I go down on her it's not like a safari through a freaking rain forest, and since that's my feelings toward them I feel I should keep mine groomed and short so they don't end up with a mouthful of pubs. Keeps it more enjoyable for both of us. I also take great pride on my skills in going down on a girl. The feeling of them squirming on my face I find really entertaining.

FNM 08-12-2005 10:40 PM

the first time i ever shaved. i think was grade 8. i have now since graduated and have been out of school for a year now. anyways. it was in the morning before school.
i never realized the immense itch that followed. when the hair started to grow back i was a gonner. every break during school i had to scratch my area just to feel some sort of relief.

Ariq 08-16-2005 12:27 AM

Pain.

So what's the preference on blades here? I'd take a razor over a pair of scissors any day - with a razor you get some burn, but with scissors, one missed snip snip and it's all over.

While this doesn't really matter on your face, I don't think you want to risk having a piece of your scrotum chopped off for the sake of smoothness.

Mach 3 Turbo is the way to go, as is the new Gillette gel (I'm not a company man, I swear). I think they should put out an add just for that. Imagine those 3 space chicks lathering the guy up, shaving his privates, then the guy wakes up spent in his bathroom with that silver lipstick all over his cock n' balls...

Yeah, I should be in marketing.

I trim a landing strip with an electric trimmer on a med. setting, then trim the sack on the shortest setting. Then I use the bare blade of the trimmer to shape and go to the skin around the landing strip. I initially used a "gentle touch" trimmer (one of those little tiny trimmers for eyebrows etc. you see on tv) on the shaft then I shaved the shaft with an electric razor (the kind with 3 circles)now I just shave with the electric for up keep. Its true about the loose skin but you can do the shaft if it is hard as diamonds(it also helps to pull the skin tight with your other hand). Watch out if you start to get soft, it can pull in a little skin and bite you. That stings a bit but not bad, it cant be any worse than the nicks from a blade. I dont think the electric would be a good idea on the sack though.

pan6467 08-17-2005 08:20 AM

I have a lady's Norelco that I use to shave it down and then I razor it smooth...

As for the sack and shaft area I can get the shaft very smooth but the sack I have a hard time with. It's too loose and rounded. The area all around it I shave.

What I have found is if I dip the sack in very cold water so that it shrivels up, I can pull and shave a great deal of it but I still have hairs I miss no matter how hard I try.

I recently bought Nair for men so I'll give that a try and post the results.

I have thought about waxing it but not sure if that would hurt the sensitivity in the long run.

TheProf 08-22-2005 06:22 AM

Hello,

My wife recently surprised me by shaving herself entirely bare. It was definitely VERY HOT and much appreciated!

Now, the problem is that she's being driven crazy by the itching, the red bumps, and the pain. I've read through many of the pages and much of the advice is what to do when you shave (IE: what type of razor, shaving cream, soaking it in hot water, etc) and what to do right after (lotion, oil, etc.).

Is there any advice for what to do now? She's in a lot of pain, and any kind of underwear is hurting a lot from the elastics. She's also got these white bumps all over the shaved area (Think of them as a LOT of big whitehead pimples). I've tried to put baby oil on it to sooth it, and it only works a little. She wants to try baby powder - has anyone tried that?

While I'd love it if she kept shaving I can't stand her in such pain, so I wouldn't push her to do it again. Any thoughts?

bunofsteel 08-27-2005 09:44 PM

I think right now moisturizers are the best way to go. I think your best hope is to tell her how great it was, maybe trim a little to show her reciprocity, and once she's healed and not in the pain nicely ask her to try again, but taking the right steps the next time (going with the grain, sharp blade, etc).

betapornstar 09-09-2005 12:49 PM

Someone posted something about putting baby powder down there or something as it gets "clammy". I agree with this. If you can find an unscented powder it helps especially after your aftershave has dried up.

I have a question that I don't think has had enough exposure:
Ladies sometimes shave the landing strip or the hitler mustache, either is great, but is there a equivilent for guys? What do ladies like to see?

I'm really surprised she's in that much pain!! I only started 3 years ago and while it felt odd at first and I had the usual bumps, never was there pain..did she scrape skin? Don't use baby oil, that blocks the pores opened by new shaving and can cause more bumps. Powder works much better for shaving and after and the blade should never be more than a couple of days old or used more than maybe 5-10 times. Used blades scrape and cut, even if they look fine. And she shouldn't go more than a day without shaving once it's started. If the legs need it, so do other areas. Hot water surprises me as well since that opens pores-cold makes more sense.
This might sound really odd, but the very best thing that worked for smoothing the skin for me was...(weird) Revlon's 'New Complexion One-Step Compact Makeup' and no, I'm not getting into how I found this out....

Charlatan 09-13-2005 11:05 AM

Tea Tree oil on the effected areas will help.

Pubic Hair and You: A Lesson in Separation

Everything you need to know about shaving, in one easy post.

Hi there! So you want to know about shaving, do you? Well, you’ve come to the right place. 22 pages of info has been distilled down here. We’re going to check out the various forms of hair removal, with an emphasis on the most complicated and popular one of all, Shaving.

Over the past 30 years, pubic maintenance has come a long way in our society. The days of “Au Naturel” Porn stars are long over- it has changed from mainstream acceptance to a fetish with a fringe following. It is extremely rare to see full bush in a Porn video, and it’s common to see both men and women shaved or waxed. This trend is not one limited to the Porn industry; many men and women now trim or go bare for their own enjoyment, as well as their partners’.

The benefits of Hair removal are manifold:

1. Increased Sensitivity
2. A “Smooth” Feeling- It feels really good to the touch. You’ll love running your hands over it.
3. Less Odor and Taste (The Funk)
4. Good chance your lover will enjoy going down on you more (or may start going down on you)
5. For the guys- It makes your cock look bigger.

TRIMMING

While going completely bare is quite enjoyable, many people are satisfied just trimming the whole region, or trimming their pubic region while shaving their genitals. There are a few options for trimming, including scissors, beard trimmers and the like, but the general consensus is just grabbing the nearest electric trimmer/clipper and going to town. Length is a matter of personal preference, determined by the trimmer head you use.

SHAVING

Shaving has been around for a long time, a good 5000 years or so. However, progress in shaving technology has only picked up in the last 100 years. Still, it’s plenty of time to come up with a dizzying array of products. Some of these are better than others- I’ll be focusing on the few that others have agreed on having the highest quality for the shave.

There are three important aspects to a shave:

1. Preparation of skin and hair
2. The shave
3. Aftercare

1. Preparation of skin and hair

First of all, if you want to start shaving, but you’ve let your hair grow out over ½ of an inch, trim it down first. Long hairs will clog and dull your razor and make the job much longer. Next, you should to prep your skin. This means you should soak the area with (preferably) hot water to soften the hair, and a lubricant like shaving cream or soap so your razor will glide easier. Many people do this in the shower for convenience, but you can go about it any way you please.

Recommended Products:

1. Aveeno Shave Gel
2. Bar soap  all pretty much created equal, but a non-perfumed brand will probably cause less irritation to any nicks or cuts.

2. The Shave

There are a couple simple rules to follow:
a. Don’t shave against the grain.
b. Go Slow.
c. Don’t go over the same area again if you don’t have to.

That’s pretty much it for the shave. When you shave, you often remove a microscopic layer of skin. When you make several passes, it’ll gradually, increasingly irritate your skin. Just to keep in mind ;) Go with the grain at first, and if you want a closer shave, go across the grain but not against it. Make sure your razor is sharp. Use your judgment on when to replace, but do it often (perhaps every 2 or three shaves, or when it begins to drag)

For the guys- although it’s scary to shave your scrotum at first, go slow and you’ll be fine. Try to get good lighting if you can, in dimmer light you often get “stragglers”. And yes, it will hurt if you nick yourself. There are many nerve endings there. It’s not the end of the world if you do, and the thing is, it’s not going to happen often, if at all.

Also, never use an electric razor on your genitals. Almost every single one pulls the hair up to cut it. This is fine for the relatively firm skin on your face, but if you try it on your ballsac you’ll just end up screaming on the floor.

Recommended Products:

1. Gilette Mach 3 Turbo disposable razor. There’s a general consensus that this is the razor that gets the job done right.
2. The Sensor razors. I’m told they conform well to some very curvy parts of the body, so I think they’d be a good second choice if the Mach 3 isn’t getting to where you want it to go.

3. Aftercare

In my mind, this is the most important part of your shaving experience. Everyone hates the itching and ingrown hairs that can come with your hair growing back. This can be minimized or eliminated with good aftercare.
After you’ve finished shaving, you’re smooth. Your skin, however, is dry and irritated. The best thing you can do at this point is to moisturize. Grab a good aftershave or moisturizing lotion and throw it on. This’ll hydrate your skin and let it recover.

Your crotch is not a friendly environment. Wrapped up in clothes, it’s hot, moist, and sticky. It’s really not somewhere you want to put a recently sensitized shaved region of your body. You can reduce the discomfort (and a lot of itching) by putting on a talc based powder a little after your shave. Most of these powders have an anti-inflammatory (and more besides) included with their drying properties. A cautionary note however, as there are studies linking cancer (ovarian and lung) to the use of talcum powder. You can use cornstarch as an alternative, or if that is unsatisfactory, simply use moisturizer. (for more information, check the post below)

For the next couple of days, make sure to exfoliate- basically this means that in the shower rub down the shaved area with an exfoliating brush or a loofa. Exfoliating basically means that you remove the top layer of dead skin, that hairs could get caught on coming out, which would form ingrown hairs.
Something that’s been suggested (credit Halx) is putting on an oil-based lube 12 hours after your shave to avoid ingrown hairs. The results from those who have tried it have been somewhat contradicting, but in general supportive and the theory is sound (lubricate the skin so hairs come out more easily)

Wearing loose airy clothing will go a long way in preventing ingrown hairs. If you do get any ingrown hairs, it’s best to just go at it with a pin and/or a pair of tweezers.

There were also a couple things mentioned for aftercare that no one else commented on- Visine, and Tea Tree Oil. Both are anti-inflammatory, although tea tree oil has anti-microbial properties as well.

Recommended products:

1. No clear winner in moisturizer category. Personal preference I guess.
2. Loofa/Loofah sponge for exfoliating.
3. Goldbond powder, baby talc powder
4. Vaseline or other oil based lube.

Note: It’ll take time for the skin to become accustomed to shaving, just like the skin on your legs or face. It’ll get easier as time goes on.

That’s pretty much it. You don’t have to do everything that’s up there to shave, but it’ll ensure the best possible results, especially if you have sensitive skin.

MYTHS ABOUT SHAVING

1. If I cut my sac, it’ll bleed forever.

Thought it would be common sense, but blood will clot anywhere on your body. Unless you’re a hemophiliac you’ll be fine.

2. If I shave, my hair will grow back darker, thicker, coarser, and with plans of world domination.

Let me direct you to snopes.

There was a poll asking members preferences in pubic hair, and while the actual poll details seem to have disappeared, results from written statements generally went
Shaving > Trimming > Natural.

DEPILATORIES

This basically includes any cream, spray, liquid, or agent that burns, dissolves, or destroys hair. All I can say for these is that there are extremely powerful chemicals involved that depend on you removing the solvent before it does too much damage to the skin. It’s not something I would want to put around my pubic region, let alone on my genitals themselves. If you want to do it, go ahead, but it is dangerous in orders of magnitude greater than using a razor on your balls.

WAXING

Tutorial on getting a professional Brazilian wax done

This is a helpful site for professional waxing for women. In general, getting waxed by a professional is considered a less painful and time consuming option, rather than home waxing.

I have no advice for home waxers, other than to go to a professional instead.

Guys that want to get a male brazilian (sometimes called a Parisian) will have a difficult time finding a business that does them. Ask around, pick up a phone book and start dialing. Prices will be more expensive than for women, somtimes twice as much or more.

It doesn't hurt as much as you think, especially if the waxer is well experienced with their work. The area will be sore for a day or two afterwards (or three depending on how quick you heal). And then you're home free. Moisturize the area, and then keep it dry, either with talc powder or cornstarch. There is no stubble and you will be hairless for 2 or three weeks afterwards.

PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL

Always an option. Check your local listings, laser therapy seems to be the most popular choice at the moment. It will be expensive.

Good info. Only one I would put a disclaimer on (for me, since I have naturally oily skin) is the use of oil-based lubes to soften the skin. They can clog pores, causing zits, etc. I'd also add the hints of sitting in front of a mirror once in a while for absolute removal certainty, shave daily (if the legs and face need it, so does the pubic area), and, if it's the first time, use a conditioner in the shower for a couple of days first. Before my first clean shave, I trimmed down, then used Nair Bikini to remove the majority of hair, then finally shaved what was left.
Too often, the decision is made, a razor comes out, then the pain begins. Never had any pain, but it does feel odd at first. If you think you might get irritated or feel weird, shave a little at a time, get used to it, then go all the way. You won't go back!!!!

katie_ann1031 11-08-2005 09:16 AM

Personally, I never understood the appeal of the shaved pubic area on men. They're men! They're supposed to have hair! I was with a shaved guy once, and it kind of creeped me out. Total turn off. I made the mistake of bending to society's demands and ended up shaving my region for a while. Then one day I said, "the hell with it." That might be too much information for you, so I do appologize... :o :o :o

Although the jury is still officially out on the subject, I'd stay away from talcum powder in the genital region. I refer you to this article: http://www.preventcancer.com/consume...etics/talc.htm

The first time I was involved was a roomate of mine who complained his member looked like a chicken's skin before putting it in the pot. he reported profuse itching. He said it was worth it because it made his "little guy" look like a "big guy".

Argh Help!!!

Basically story goes I want to remove certain hairs;) but feared the razor due to myths and stuff. So on goes the Nair, rapes my sack and doesn't even remove the hairs, just makes them straw like. So it got shaved off, I followed the guide posted here and its all ok. But, and its a big but, I can't seem to get close enough with the shave so i end up with about a millimeter of hair left, like stubble but slightly longer. This hurts like a bitch and will probably solved by a new razor. I hear good things about the M3 Turbo so I'll get one of them. My other problem is that smoothness is not smoothness so catches on my clothes and then hurts even more, this again is probably the razor. But i can still see all the hairs if i pull my skin taught, little black dots. Would the razor solve this?

Note: This is only on the pubic hair region, not the sack. Although there is a little on the shaft.

As for acceptance...

Up until recently, I have had the same SO for about 7 yrs, off and on.
During one of the "off" periods, I became very active on irc. The subject of
shaving came up with several females I was communicating with, and I became
very curious. Of course whats not to love about lathering up the ole genitalia?
I shaved, and enjoyed the process, and the results. I kept it up for a while,
and returned to the previous longtime SO. She TOTALY freaked!! She would not
get near my bald sack under any circumstances!! She said it was like being
with a 12 year old. I have to wonder why she would pick that age, but I digress.
I liked it, she did not. I quit. I wonder about the reaction of my next partner,
to finding a clean shave on our first encounter.
I am actually quite neutral on the issue of shaving.
Um... was there a question in there?

Strangely enough, yes. And the ones who do, REALLY like it. I once had a semi-drunken discussion with the ex-hus and his FATHER (ew) that his dad loved a hairy woman, and I mean hairy. He didn't want his woman to shave anything, underarms, legs, nothing. And he said he totally dug a huge hairy bush. Man, was that WAY more information than I wanted to know about my father-in-law.

the girl i'm currently with likes the fact that i take care of myself around my pubic area, but as i am a hairy guy in certain parts, she said i could try shaving my armpits.

when i first started shaving, my crotch was really itchy for about a week and a half, until i started doing it regularly and whatever itch was there got weaker to the point that i experience discomfort only if wearing briefs and having not shaved in a week or more.

the problem with her suggestion is that i don't want another body part to have to worry about taking care of. armpits are a lot more functional and less aesthetic than a cleanly shaved pubic area is, so will shaving the moderate amount of hair i have there be bad for me? (more sweat, more smell?) also, does armpit hair grow back at a rate that would have me shaving every day to stop irritation?

I just wanna add something to this thread. I got waxed a little while ago and I was so enjoyably smooth for a very long time. It cost about $125 for the butt, crotch (full brazilian) and under arms. The service is recommended every 5-6 weeks and gets easier and easier with each appointment.

The pain? Ya, it hurt, but it was fast. The situation? I must admit being naked in very vulnarable positions as a guy named Enrique ripped hair off my privates was fairly unnerving, but the experience was a positive one. Painful, awkward, but very professional and courteous.

The payoff? Well, aside from a rush of endorphins to counteract the pain, you get a smooth smooth body that your partner will absolutely crave.

I recommend it.

zed wolf 10-27-2006 05:46 AM

So I am wandering about the site being a new guy and all and read this thread, well I read the beginning and the end anyway, I don't think I would have the patience to read all of it especially since most of it seems a bit repetitive. That is ok though. My thoughts on the subject are, I shave my nuts and shaft, I have been doing this for several years now, at least 6. My methodology differs a bit from what seems to be the norm though. I use the smallest razor I can find Schick Slim Twin. And I always shave dry. not in the shower not with hot water not with cold water not with cream. Just plain dry shaving. There is almost never any discomfort nicks or pain. My theory and I never theorized about it before really is that without any form of lube I get a close comfortable shave because the razor is less likely to just slide over the hair. I could be wrong but it seems to work for me. I also think it goes a bit easier if your nuts are shriveled a bit, makes fore a firmer surface to run the razor over. The shaft gets done while semi erect. Every once in a while when I get bored I shave everything else off but not too often, I'm not an extremely hairy guy but I do have some hair on my stomach and of course my legs and I think the bald patch in the middle of that looks a bit odd. Last time I did that I did a Hitler just for s&g's. I wouldn't mind trying wax some time.
As for girls that shave, I don't have a strong preference either way. I like shaved girls trimmed girls and hairy girls. I think they all have there own appeal. If I had to choose just one to have on a girl for the rest of my life....probably just a minor trim. don't take anything completely off just get it down to where it dosent look like a bad afro hiding from the '70's.

Penis Enlargment

Ok I was watching "The Practice" this morning and basically, the witness said the person who flashed her and such had a tiny penis, which was the defendants. The defandant said he has a large penis, and actually showed the jury and judge...and apparently it was large.

The funny thing is, he still lost the case because one of the jurors was a plastic surgeon and he apparently "tampered with the evidence" by having plastic surgery and getting his penis enlarged, he saw the scars and such.

Now I say this because for one, I never knew you could get your penis enlarged like that, you hear about plastic surgery alot, but never along these lines.

Two, I now bring up all those penis englargment pills, do they actually work and such?

Three...DISCUSS AWAY =)

Tamerlain 11-15-2006 11:38 AM

The penis extends down past where it meets the pelvic area, so the operation simply uses some of what's hidden and pulls it out (I'm pretty sure that's how they do it at least).

I'm also fairly certain that penis enlargement pills don't work. If they did I think they would have a better method of advertising - right now the only place I've ever seen them for sale is in my Hotmail inbox. :)

Actually, if they really worked they wouldn't need to advertise them at all!

Sage 11-15-2006 07:37 PM

Ok, this wins the title of "Most interesting and strange thread started today!" :)

Penis enlargement pills do not work. Ever. For any reason.

Secondly, there are two ways to "surgically" enhance the penis. The first one involves cutting the tendon at the top of the penis, causing it to hang down further. Ever see a porn and the guy's schlong looks like it's coming out from between his legs? He's had his tendon cut. The second is to get a penis enlargement operation, something that I've not heard very much about at all (other than Angilena Jolie is supposedly jonesing for Brad Pitt to get one) but supposedly is possible. In that procedure, they put in a semi-rigid rod into the penis... I think.

Only thing that I know of that WORKS and that I would recommend would be using a penis pump on a semi-regular basis.

Xera 11-15-2006 08:45 PM

I did not think those penis pumps worked. I've never met a man that was willing to admit that he had used one, or that he needed to.

hrandani 11-16-2006 12:12 AM

There is no effective or safe way to enlarge your penis.

If you do have a very small unit, then you need to man up learn about the other 95% of sex.

Sage 11-16-2006 08:17 AM

Well, the thing with penis pumps is it also increases sensation due to the massive amount of blood it pulls into the penis. So it's not just about having a giant penis, but about increasing sensation and experiencing different sensations.

And I disagree about the "no effective or safe way to enlarge your penis." Penis vaccum pumps are perscribed by doctors for erectile dysfunction, with the added bonus of stretching the penis tissue over the course of continuious use, thus making the penis larger.

Xera 11-16-2006 08:26 AM

I'm wondering if the pump feels good when using it? as a vacuum it would seem likely that it would feel pretty good. If so wouldn't that be a fun experiment? A scientific study of the highest caliber. We would need male volunteers to uhmm weigh in, buy a pump and report progress on size difference over a, what do you think, one year period, is that long enough? Using the pump every day.

No, it's not a masturbation thing, its science!;)

loquitur 11-16-2006 10:24 AM

BlackIce 11-16-2006 11:36 AM

pumps scare me lol but it would be an interesting expirment...I wonder if it really works?

Sage 11-16-2006 06:01 PM

Using a penis pump every day would be wayyy too much!

Perhaps once a week. They also make pussy pumps, clit pumps, and nipple pumps, three things that are on my christmas list this year!

Average_Joe 11-17-2006 11:14 AM

You mean those Enzyte pills don't really work?

Too bad....I always liked those "smiling Bob" commercials on TV.

Mister Coaster 11-18-2006 10:28 AM

Enzyte and Smiling Bob are not advertising penis enlargement, Enzyte is for erectile disfunction.

I've tried "pumping" several years ago, it wasn't with anything that was labeled as a "penis pump" but it worked the same. It certianly brought my penis to it "fullest potential" but no long term benefits were achieved. I have heard it takes LOTS of dedication to actually do anything perminantly, and even then, it's not much of a change.

I've got one that I use for fun. And believe me it is FUN. Sage has generally decided that she doesn't much like having sex right after I've used it, sort of due to a combination of (as I understand it) being a little TOO big and having a different texture (pumping a small amount can make you super-hard, pumping more than that kind of inflates your penis so that it gets bigger and a little squishy... like those big squishy dildoes).

When I first started playing with it about nine months ago, I noticed that I would get hard more often just at random throughout the day. That's really the only major change that I can recall.

I think I might be a bit bigger than I used to be, but its not a big deal and certainly not the highlight of pumping (at least for me). For me it's a sex toy, which I think men by and large miss out on since we don't have the same place to stick all of the cool and funky gadgets women can buy (sure we can stick them in our butts, but its not the same).

All in all, size gains might be there but I'd call it minimal. The good part of pumping is how good it feels... it's like all the additional blood getting trapped up in there just heightens the pleasurable feelings of sex and sex-related activities. I really would recommend it as a fun masturbatory aid and/or sex toy to anyone remotely interested. It feels great!

Continuing this thread, I'd like to add my experience.

When I first shaved my pubic hair I was 12, I hadn't got a lot, but I had enough. It was a little itchy, but not too much. I had a quarrell whith my parents about it, so I decided not to do it anymore.

Nevertheless, some years after I couldn't help to do it again as I like the feeling of being hairless down there. I have done it from time to time since, and it has never been itchy when the hair grows back. I guess my skin must be thicker than average and that avoids itching. I always use a disposable razor, no cream and no after-shave lotions, and I have never had skin problems after.

Recently, I have started to wax my chest, not that I am very hairy, just a little, so I waxed it with cold wax the first time and now with warm roll-on wax since cold wax is disgusting when bits of it stick to your skin after pulling. It doesn't hurt me when I pull hair with wax, odd ? I guess so. Nontheless, I have never tried brazilian waxing, I have used this electric machine instead, the one that pulls hair as you pass it over your skin, Silk-epil is called in most countries nowadays, and it is very satisfactory, hair doesn't grow back for two weeks at least, and it is weaker and softer when growing back.

digme 12-11-2006 02:58 PM

As far as a wax job, how long does it hurt afterwards? I want it to be a surprise, so the timing is critical.

Well I have been shaving (Mach 3) for a while now..rs.. my g/f said if i shave you shave
so i did
now i like it i just keep it that way
trim the pubic hair above the cock and shave the sides and balls and all the way back to the anus (inclusive)...women love it.
i had 1 ingrown hair
hold shit
i wish i had know about the needle and tweezers thing
it took 2 months to go away and hurt like hell in the meanwhile....dont le that happen.

Do it guys
after the 2nd time ul like it alot.
Hey what about the sugar/waxing thing...must hurt alot huh???
ripping hair from your balls....hmmmmmmmmmm

Jozrael 12-16-2006 04:54 AM

How do you prevent like 1800000 ingrown hairs? Gah. Gahness of DOOM.

Krycheck 12-27-2006 02:11 PM

Well I'm getting a vasectomy in February and I may not wait till the week of the appointment to shave. As soon as I get all the goodies (good soap, lotion, new razors) I'll get going on it. I already use Mach3 razors :)

People keep bringing up separate razor for face and crotch and no one says why. The only reason I can see is that your crotch hair is thicker than the hair on your face and your razor wont do such a good job on your face after.

Halx 12-27-2006 02:25 PM

The reason why is they dont want to use the same tool on their face that they just used on their crotch. :p

It doesn't passively hurt at all past the initial "ripping" - however it will hurt up to a day or two later if you bother that area enough. After that its good to go.
