I don't know about you all, but frankly, I'm more comfortable with a shaven sack. Things are just dryer, less itchy and smell much better (sorry for the bluntness)... I imagine its about the same on women.

I've been shaving mine for over a year now. I had thought about doing it for quite some time before that, but never had the guts to go through with it.

I was terrified about what other guys would think about me while showering at the gym. But once I finally went through with it, I was glad I did. It is nicer looking and makes a HUGE difference when getting head. I'll never stop shaving now.

Question:

How the hell does one go about shaving their own ass? A creative system of mirrors? I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but everytime I think about it, the logistics of the situation seem absolutely mind boggling.

I've done it in the past. My wife liked it alot, I just haven't kept up with it.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one that has let their g/f shave them? Granted you have to totally TRUST the gal to hold a razor down there and it was pretty nerve wracking the first time, but it took her about 1/10th the time to shave me than I usually take and she did a better job too. I'm guessing its because of all the practice/experience she has had on shaving herself.

My wife is much more willing to go down on me after she or I shave the brothers. I think the same goes for us guys, don't you like a nice clean pussy when you go down on her? Well I just tried it, and the post-itching has been tolerable. I did use the Halx suggestion of Vaseline (we are talking the petroleum jelly right?), and it minimized the itching a bunch. I personally have always plucked the hair on my balls and shaft and have never touched the "bush". I think that it would look a lot better if I trimmed it but I don't know how to go about doing it.

I used a beard electric razor to trim it down and then a Mach 3 Turbo razor to take it all off.

Sounds like it would be fun to let the gf shave me to were she likes it.

So I finally ... ah trimmed myself... down there. Did it as a surprise for Yoshi, who flipped out and absolutely loved it. And I must say, it certainly looks a lot cleaner.

I know us guys have talked about this in innumerable threads, so wanted to share my quick story with those thinking about making the plunge. Like many, the idea of taking a razor to my scrotum was enough to halt any thoughts I had about this right in their tracks. Thanks to another poster, though, I learned about Magic Shaving Powder - a depilatory that removes the hair painlessly and without the chance of slicing off your boys. (It's typically used by black men who get ingrown hairs when shaving their face.)

It worked wonders and didn't have the effects that something like Nair would. Well, mostly. If you leave this on your skin for more than 5 minutes or so, it will cause burns. I went slow, doing one side, then the other - and there was some overlap I didn't notice until it was a bit too late. (It hurt like hell, but thankfully, it cleared up within 24 hours.)

If you're a fence-sitter on shaving, scared by the thought of razor burn, nicks or ingrown hairs, I highly recommend Magic. Get the platinum can (for sensitive skin) and follow the directions. Top it off with a little trim up top and you'd be amazed at the reception it gets!

Ummm.. using chemicals will bake your beans, man. I cant stress that enough.

Use the razor all ready! It's easy. Trust yourself.

I hear ya Hal - and was *really* nervous before trying this, but it honestly worked with no trouble. I tried a test patch - and had no trouble. Then, several days later, took that leap of faith.

Aside from that one area that got hit twice, no problems at all.

I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. It contains Thioglycolate, which essentially dissolves the hair. But as mentioned above, I'd definitely try it on a very small area first - to be sure it doesn't affect your skin differently than it did mine.

In a broader sense, though... you mix this powder with water, and apply. Wait five minutes, keeping it moist, then remove with a dull edge, like a butter knife. Cream comes off, as does the hair.

This stuff intrigues me, does it also dissolve the root?
Also I don't plan on using this on my balls.

Don't even think about that electric razor! Did it once and it was total mizzzery for days. I though they were designed to eliminate nicks and cuts, well that ain't what happens with the sensitive areas! The best shave option I've found is the Mach 3 which works well.

Use a blade.... or, better yet, let her use it on you. She will love it, and knowing that it is *dangerous* she'll be very careful, and you can sit back and enjoy the fact that she has her hands all over yer stuff... and ... and... and... the positives are too numerous to mention.

electric razors work by pulling on the hair, then cutting it. By that logic, try yanking the hair on your sack. Did that feel good? Ok, you get the point.

Nahh Halx, I successfully shaved me and my wife's pubes with no problem with my electric razor, but as for the balls, I wouldn't touch them accept with a blade. Hell, they've never been shaved, and I dunno if I will ever let them be :)

I've had it off for almost 2 weeks now. I experienced itching only after the first time. I used an electric razor to trim the thick hair above the shaft, but once I got it down to 1/2 inch or so, I switched to a Mach 3. I use soap in the shower and it works great. You can go against the grain as long as you aren't on the balls. I just take it easy on the balls, and it has gotten easier and easier. It feels strange at first, but I really like it now.

i shave all the time......actually i trim......dont like being completely bald. But the balls are the hard area so i let them grow in more often then anot and just leave the hair there. Do like how it makes you look like you added half an inch to your cock though.

and when using condoms it is good cause they dont get the hair caught in between them. And you dont get all the lube and stuff getting all caught up in them either, when you are fuckin.

I used to have a landing strip that I would give a little buzz with my beau-of-the-time's beard trimmer. After getting nicked several times I stopped. It happens for the exact reasons Hal mentioned above, only it catches your skin sometimes too. Not fun. Believe you me.
