Calling all Groupies! Who would you rather?
So if you were to throw yourself at a member of a four-piece guitar band, who would it be and why?

I voted bassist.. They're always underappreciated and feeling lonely.. Totally an easy score. (Am I going to get my ass kicked for that one).
I am assuming of course that this is an all girl band.

I'm almost always attracted to drummers...maybe it's cause they have to best rythm (sp?).

The singer would be a definite no... way to much of an attention whore, and used to the spotlight. Sex would be all about them.
Guitarists - eh -- a little bland - really probably wouldn't stand out... Bassists -- now we're getting somewhere... they stay in the background so life isn't all about them, plus are part of a team, they know they can't be the band all by themself so sex would be give and take. Drummer -- Todd Rundgren's song "Bang on the drum" goes thru my head - -so I'm guessing the stamina would be there... plus there is that rhythm thing... So it's either bassis or drummer for me -- and honestly - it's more about quality than quantity so I'm going with the bassist I have put way too much though into this.

I voted (a woman) singer just by default because none of the others appeal to me. I feel a woman who plays any of those 3 instruments would be a very radical, tough woman, probably more than I could handle. Maybe something along the lines of a "bad ass." If theres going to be any 'bad assness' present in my relationship, i'd prefer it to be myself. I prefer somewhat of a more conservative, moderate, sensitive woman who I can love tenderly

Lady bassist, as I have yet come across one that I haven't lusted after. Also for the other reasons for the bassists listed above.
Male singer, as I tend to like making sex about the other person and I really love it when people are vocal during sex (as long as they mean it and it's not just porn) but I'll vote bassist.

Bass players do always seem to be the most attractive member of the band. I can think of at least four lady bass players I know personally, off the top of my head that I'd mambo with, and if I was gay (which I'm not, not that there's anything wrong with that) I can think of a few dudes.
If we must make a musical analogy to sexual performance, then I would guess that bass players, since they are the foundation of the band, would make considerate lovers. They also have to lend a driving and powerful rhythm to the proceedings, so I'd say there's a perfect balance of agression and sensitivity.

Trumpet players make the best kissers. lurkette can vouch for that!
There's something about a girl bassist... Women playing low-toned instruments is hot. I knew a girl in high school who played the upright bass in her high school orchestra. She wasn't all that much to look at, but her playing that instrument was sexy as hell. Girl cellists are super cool too. So I'm gonna go "bassist", followed by "drummer". |

From my experience, the division tends to be pretty equal. OF course that's based on jazz and not rock or pop bands. The bassist tends to be the rhythmic foundation of the band, actually, and the drummer is typically in the best physical condition. (for fairly obvious reasons) Singer are occasionally divas, but then so are guitarists, typically more so than the other members of the band. Based purely on abstractions, I think I'd prefer a female bassist first, drummer second, singer, and then guitarist. (despite being a guitar player myself) Guitarists are typically very confident if not arrogant, and that's pretty much a requirement to do the job, frankly.

To answer the question...women who can sing totally turn me on...it's like "we could sing together!" or "We have something in common!" and if she plays guitar I'm hers. Drummers definitely have the energy and coordination going for them though...I guess I wouldn't have any problem doing any of em really..if one turned me down...moving right along...I'd do every member of The Runaways for example. Prolly do every member of The Donnas also lol.
But yeah I do like the idea of a girl who can sing or play guitar most of all Asta!!

Thats why I voted for singer, I prefer sex to be about the other person. The rest of the relationship is less work if they are happy in bed.
