A lil nick....
Okay, so I was trimming the hedges, and I use the electric trimmer side of my electric razor, and it's worked atleast 15 times before with no problems. Today, I guess I got a little lazy/tired from doing it for so long, and i accidently hit the shaft.
It's just a lil cut, didn't bleed (maybe it did a drop, cuz i took a shower after, but no more) and it was just a little redder. Doesn't hurt, haven't gotten an erection though, don't know if that would hurt. Anyone ever cut themselves down there? (I'd put this on the trimming/shaving/etc. thread, but since it's 1) about cuts and 2) people dont read really long, yr. old threads, i posted a new topic.) |

I shave with a blade, and I'm always nicking myself slightly in various places. Doesn't really hurt too badly, and by the time I'm out of the shower I can't even really tell where the nicks were. I can hardly feel it at all at that point.

never cut myself. maybe i'm just not as careless as you folks
with the exception of ratbastid it seems that electric trimmers are a common factor... maybe using an electric trimmer is an invitation to disaster?

Yeah, I was masturbating in the shower after so many weeks of not doing it, that I was wild. At that instance, the bottom directly beneath the head ripped. The blood wouldn't stop pouring, however, it did not hurt. This happened when I was 12.

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |

I'm very careful when I shave...just once, though, the razor slipped from my hand and got me right above the "spout," so to speak. I screamed like a little girl.

a few nicks here and there, no biggie, it's shaving your balls that's the real trick.

Oh sweet merciful crap!
Call me silly, but the thought of getting a nick down there prevents me from bringing any sort of razor near my family jewels.... And as for tweezing.... *shudder* No thanks... Hope yours healed up alright though.

Yep. I think nicks and cuts come with the job. I've gotten a nick or two on the shaft, but whatever. It's not exactly life-threatening, and in a day or two no one's the wiser. Just like shaving your face...it's not necessarily a carelessness issue, more one of bad luck and the law of averages.

I also have a trimmer for my goatee that occasionally gets double-duty, but I only TRIM with that. It's not a razor. lurkette bought an electric razor designed for the privates a while back, and sometimes I'll use that. There's no risk of nicks with that thing at all, but I'm not crazy about the results it produces either. Nowhere near as close or clean a shave. |
