I wouldn't fuck her....
but I'd let her blow me.
How many times have we heard our friends say this, huh guys? Or even said it ourselves on occasion. My question is this: Ladies, are there guys who you'd let go down on you but you wouldn't let them fuck you? Is this a male thing only? I've never heard a woman say " I wouldn't fuck him, but I'd let him eat my pussy." Have you ever felt that way about a guy? Have any of you actually said this? I'm just curious since I never heard it before. And if not why not? Is the gap between the sexes wide in this respect? Are men just more crude? Is sex more general for you and permission more global in a bodily sense? Just wondering.

What i don't get, is when guys say that or something similar, when they wouldn't have a fucking chance anyway?
When it's said like that, there's an implication that they in fact could get do it if they wanted to? I know it's some sort of fucked up ratings system, but i sometimes roll my eyes when some friends say something fucking stuipid like that. Sill in that same idea as the post though, i think sometimes people are soemtimes either more inclined to perform oral sex than to have sex and also vice versa? Some girls are somtimes self concious and maybe some guys as well? about others "going down" on them so they'd proabbly rather have sex. It's all personal preferences really? and yes, men are more crude also, sorry i don't think i really answered anything? Last edited by Sleepyjack; 12-03-2003 at 09:52 PM.. |

True, even though sex is something to be enjoyed, love making is completely different and so is oral I suppose, I don't really look at a woman and think "I'd root that" I just look at them and think.. hehe, she is beautiful !!!
I see more of people other than just potential sex partners, but hey! I think it just works differently, males generally have a stronger sex drive and usually think about it more all that sort of stuff - when you have testosterome in your body (high amounts of it - being male) you tend to think that more My mum was trying to settle an arguement with her partner.. when I was like 13 and she goes "Is testosterome a disease" I didn't even know, so I answered with "yes it is !" |

Eww... NO. I've never looked at a guy and thought "gee, I wouldn't screw him, but i'd..." that's just icky. If i wouldn't have sex with a guy, why would i want any physical contact at all? Yes, I am picky, I have a right to be. But my point is that I do not see a man and A) want to sleep with him B) Rule out sleeping with him, but think of other activites.
Besides, I only want one guy...

I generally agree with SparklingDot, and I'm a male. I've never - at least as far as I can remember - looked at a female and thought that. Why in the world would I want a blow job from someone I wouldn't want to have sex with? What's the difference? To me, there isn't one. If I'm so unattracted to someone that I wouldn't consider having sex with them, then there's no way I'd still want a blow job.
Wow...that's just stupid logic. Almost upsetting actually.

Some of you underestimate the shallowness of certain males. I've known several guys at various jobs and even friends that have made this statement. These are same guys that don't like "fat girls" when they're like 30lb overweight max. I'm an extremely nonjudgmental person sexually, to the point where I believe I'd prolly have sex with much less desirable women by societal standards than most men. If I would accept head I would definitely fuck a girl. I'd just like to know if females ever heard another girl say this or may be said it themselves. I know myself I've seen women wayyyy out of my league that I would be satisfied with going down on them and that's it. So I don't think it's that out of the ordinary to wonder.

Well, for me I think that oral sex is much more intimate than full blown sex. So I wouldn't do that with just anyone. Not that I'd have sex with just anyone either. But if I were so inclined I'd have sex with a random guy, but not oral. That's just me though...

The guys that are shallow enough to make that sort of comment wouldn't have any chance for more than a quick-off blow job while their dates were drunk. I think that's why they make that comment. If a BJ is all they'll get, why not say it's all they'd accept?
Even if they're completely psycho, most women have more chance with men than that. They don't need to make the comment as ego-protection. (I have heard some pretty shallow things come out of females' mouths, though.) |

"I wouldn't fuck her but I'd let her blow me."
I haven't heard that one before but the one I use is, "I wouldn't date her,but I'd fuck her," especially when the subject is a high maintenance, prima donna who thinks she is the cat's meow. Meooow,...now bend over.

I think some of this is an older mentality. It used to be that for a guy's coming of age they were taken to a prostitute. With a prostitute, the level of service can vary from a hand job to a blow job to sex. I actually heard that my wife's father (born in the 1940s) and friends were taken to Juarez, Mexico to a brothel to break them into sex when they were 18. I also know from my wife that her mother never saw her husband's erect penis except in the dark (according to the mother anyway). Their sex life was needless to say pretty pathetic (my wife's mother told her sex was something she would have to endure).
From a guy that saw prostitutes for awhile late in college when I had no time to meet girls, I can say there were some that I wouldn't want to have sex with yet wouldn't mind the blow job because one involves me being in action and doing some work and the other means I can be very non-participatory. Guys have an amazing ability to separate sex and love in our heads, so I can see saying this. I don't see nearly as many women being like this. That being said, however, once I grew up a bit I grew out of this kind of thinking. I see sex/love being a lot more synonymous than I used to (thank my wife for that). |

I can explain this.
When guys say "I wouldn't fuck her, but I'd let her blow me" what they REALLY mean is "I wouldn't fuck her and tell you guys, but I'd let her blow me and admit to it". They are saying they would find it socially acceptable for them or their peers to get a blow job, then to actually do her. This is because head is more of a you-pleasuring-me thing, while sex is more of a particapatory act. |

Emphant, you hit the nail right on the head..... As a Non-American I have a little difficulty grasping the 'fact' (at least, that is what I understand of it) that getting a bj or as a girl/guy giving head is quite acceptable in the sense that it isn't considered as a real sexual act (look at your former president). Do you have any explanation in that area??
Curious mind wants to know.

There are many out there, both men AND women,
who think oral sex, is not "real" sex. So for some reason they are able to rationalize that they aren't really having sex, but it still feels good and they can get off. I'll never understand how people twist things around like that. |
