I dunno about being justified in drawing blood. It was a comment made in jest (I believe), and if she didn't like it she was certainly justified in stopping or giving a light nip. Biting hard enough to draw blood is grounds for an assault case, and it has to be a pretty horrible fuckin' joke to warrant that kind of reaction.
