Tight Phimosis Questions

Hi,

I am sure that this is a common post, but any I can find are old so I wanted to start a new thread.

I am in my mid twenties and have suffered from a tight foreskin all my life. It is only recently that I read online about it and I am actually overjoyed to find it is a common condition (Tight Phimosis) and that it is treatable by stretching.

Ok, so after reading many web pages, I have started working on stretching the foreskin. I can already work it over the head when flacid which is a good start but once worked over, it settles in behind the head and won't come back over unless I physically work it back over. Once partically errect, I actually have to squeeze the head so that the foreskin will come back over and into its normal position.

So my questions are:

1) Is it advisable to have an errection when the foreskin is already tight around the penis when flacid. Seems to me this is a very good way to stretch it but I am worried could this actually squeese the penis too much? Has any body been in the same position?

2) Because this is the first time I have really seen my penis head fully out of the foreskin, I have of course being experimenting with it. It seems to me that in this position, sex and orgasms will be hugely improved, and I am actually excited about what I may have been missing out on. Again has anybody that has had Tight Phimosis
and is now cured found this to be the case? Stories would be of massive interest.

Many thanks, I hope some of you guys can help.

Never heard of it.

That being said, it sounds like you could be in danger of ripping said "Phimosis" and causing an infection (not to mention the pain).

Okay, I gotta ask: When was the last time you went to see a doctor for a FULL PHYSICAL EXAM? When males hit puberty, the Doc should ask about the foreskin, and then pull it back themselves to take a look at the head, for obvious medical reasons.

Yes, this happens every time I go for a full physical. I'm really looking forward to 35 when ye ol' visit by Uncle knuckle starts.

So, two things:

1. Book a FULL PHYSICAL EXAM. The whole work-up. Blood, pee tests, eyesight, hearing, get 'er done. Tell the doc about it.

2. If you are a Yankee and "Can't afford it / it isn't covered by my insurance" I would really take a look at your insurance again. Check-ups have to be covered, they just have to be. It's part of getting your baseline set-up for later medical needs. It should be once every __ years until you are __ years old, then it is yearly.

Yeah, I know. "Go see a doctor" is not the answer you are looking for. You are on the internets, looking for an easy answer. You might want to start stretching exercises daily, but make sure not to go to the point of pain. We're talking about your junk here, not an earlobe. Tearing it up is a guaranteed way to get an infection, and then you'll DEFINITELY have to go to the Doc.

Thanks for the reply.

See www . tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-sexuality/60592-phimosis.html for more info. It's a very old thread which is why I didn't just reply.

I would work at rolling back your foreskin as often as you're able to. This should have happened at puberty so you don't have these problems now, but you should definitely start.

I've had it since birth all the way until I was about 17. My couple of trips to the doctor involved them forcefully pulling it back with no anesthetic. Let me just say that I've become very tolerant of all kinds of pain since those visits.

The maintenance since then simply required me to pull it back everyday to keep skin stretched. I didn't because I grew up not doing it. It wasn't a habit. I broke it by getting a girlfriend when I was 17 and frantically trying to get it in "working order" so that she wouldn't think it was weird. So to answer the second question first, I have no idea if it has an effect on sex since I've "cured" it before I started having it at that age.

To answer the first, while it is possible to have an erection with the skin around the base, it will hurt. At least it did for me. If it's not stretched enough, I don't want to say for sure, but there might actually be some tearing. I'd wait until you can freely move it up and down while flaccid without any hangups. I had the same problem with the skin not going back, but it corrected itself once it's become a regular routine for me. Just stick to pulling it back daily and you'll be set.

I'd say that if people can stretch their foreskins to restore them to pre-circumcision proportions after being circ'd you should be able to stretch yours to move easily over the head of your penis. But those people approach their programs with fanatical dedication. And, it's the 'net. There has to be a website out there with explicit instructions on how to treat this without surgery.

Charlie,

- What's your nationality?
- Does your country have universal health care for all?

If you're an American, chance are the doctors there will recommend a circumcision and nothing else.
If you're a Canadian, there's a 50/50 chance they'll recommend the same thing as the Americans.
If you're the citizen of a nation where male circumcision is almost a requirement, well... Chop, chop!

If you're none of the above, chances are your country has Universal health care. Go see a doctor specializing in sexual health issues and SHOW them the problem. Don't worry, they've seen plenty of these. Phimosis may be an uncommon problem, but it does happen often enough that they'll know EXACTLY what to do in your case. They'll try many different solutions before putting you under the knife.

And if you do have to have it "lobbed off", take into consideration that a circumcision is a satisfactory treatment for SPECIFIC problems, but ONLY when these problems actually manifest themselves. Any other justification for the procedure is sheer lunacy, ESPECIALLY when it's non-consensual.

Good luck!

Charlie, I had the exact same condition that you do. Its actually pretty much like Logan's situation. I started stretching when I was 17 years old after I had gotten serious with a girl. At the time I had phimosis and couldn't even retract the foreskin while erect. She didnt think anything of it and just thought I was unique. I knew I was not normal and wanted to do something about it. After researching it online, I found out that the best solution was stretching. So I started stretching once a day while showering. I would place both index fingers on the inside of the foreskin where the phimotic ring is and pull outwards slightly. Be careful because it is easy to tear the foreskin without knowing creating whitish scars. After a few months I could retract the foreskin while flaccid. And about half way down the glans while erect. If you can already pull you foreskin behind the glands while its erect and it gets stuck thats ok just wait until you're flaccid to pull it back over no worries. I had the same problem but continued stretching in the shower and I noticed that normal masturbation helped extremely. When I say normal I mean pulling the foreskin all the way down even if its difficult. It took awhile for my condition to go away and made me think stretching wasn't the solution so at age 19 I went to see a urologist. At the time I had the condition you do now and told the doctor this. (Told doctor I had partial phimosis meaning I could retract foreskin while flaccid but if I tried while erect it is difficult or would get stuck.) He said there was nothing he could do except circumcision. Hell no was I going to get a circumcision so I continued with what I had been doing. Now I currently have no issues what so ever except for that my glands are really sensitive causing me to climax quickly and a little discomfort but slowly getting less sensitive. Think of it this way, when you're in your mid 30's your sensitivity would be that of a 20 year old. The pros are way better too, wont have erectile dysfunction later in life, the climaxes are extreme and I mean extreme haha also in my case it made me larger, a good 2 inches. Im actually kind of glad that I had phimosis. Let me know if this helped you out.

As a female I cannot tell you from my own personal experience but I can share some information with my medical background. Stretching should be done very regularly and gently. You should never force your skin too far, doing so can cause tearing which will eventually build up scar tissue and could make it more difficult than before. Stretching in conjunction with a topical steroid cream can help speed up the stretching process, the over the counter strength creams are insufficient you will need a prescription strength cream such as betamethasone. Skin softens in the shower/bath, during this time it is also lubricated with water, something to consider for your stretching routine. Lubricants can also provide some extra slip to make the process easier for you and are highly recommended. You will need to keep a daily routine in order to make this work.

Not knowing how tight your phimosis is, it is hard to say if pulling it back and sporting an erection would be a problem. If it is too tight, your penis will take on a sort of hourglass figure and bind around your erect member which could be harmful with a lasting erection. I would proceed with caution in that direction. If the foreskin becomes stuck squeeze the head of the penis firmly to force the blood out and try and ease the foreskin forward. If after many tries you still can’t do this see a doctor or ER.

If the foreskin is very tight the simplest method is to pull back on the skin (easiest with an erection) so that the opening feels tight without real pain. Hold that for a few minutes and repeat a few times. Do this a couple of times a day. If the opening becomes sore, or tears, stop and let things heal up. Going at it too fast will only slow things down.
Once the opening is big enough to just fit over the rim of the glans when erect the foreskin is at risk of getting stuck behind it. If this happens paraphimosis may develop.

You can try either grabbing each side of the foreskin opening (with the foreskin forward) and gently pull on each side of the opening or, even better, insert the ends of two fingers, even the little fingers and pull them gently apart. Stretch the opening in this way until it feels uncomfortably stretched but not actually painful. Hold the stretch and repeat several times.

Sometimes the cause is not a tight foreskin opening but a short frenulum called frenulum breve. This can also be stretched though it is sometimes more difficult to do this. You can grab the underside of the foreskin opening and pull out away from your body until you feel the frenulum stretching. If your foreskin opening is large enough you can pull back on the foreskin until you feel the frenulum stretching. Hold and repeat several times. If the frenulum cannot be stretched then an alternative is a frenuloplasty. It is a simple operation that does not remove any tissue but fixes the problem with minimal healing time.

I hope you find this useful.
