This is a poll about whether you would like your SO to be one extreme or the other in two hypothetical situations. The averages (5-7 beers a day, 10 partners a year, etc) are just to give a baseline, increase or decrease them if you think they are or arn't extreme enough. (SO=significant other)

"Sex-Highly Experienced" would generally include an average of 10 partners a year since 16 (until they met you) and we'll say theyre disease free since I don't think anyone would choose this option otherwise (if so though, please post why.)
"Sex-Pure" would be a virgin until they met you, they may have had previous relationship experience, and they have no qualms about having sex once they meet you.

"Drugs-Highly Experienced" The other situation is basically with drugs, which would include caffeine (4-7 cups of coffee or tea a day), alcohol (avg 5-7 beers a day), marijuana (couple times a week), exstasy (once a week), and anything else along those lines that's not really nasty stuff like crack, although maybe they do herion or coke like once a year or something. The point is an extreme...but without being on the verge of death each week, just unhealthy. In this case they would continue their drug habits once theyve met you.

"Drugs-Pure" And of course the opposite would be no drugs, legal or otherwise, at all.

I would prefer drug pure. I could care less whether a man is a virgin or not. Practice makes perfect. However, I don't think it works the same way with drugs. Lots of drugs=someone who most likely has serious dependency and emotional issues.

who says you suck at sex just because you're a virgin? may not nessasarily be the case...

most women prefer eagerness to please vrs. someone who is experienced in my opinion.

Oh and Drugs pure is what i checked. someone who's had some sex... okay, i can deal with that... but someone who's into drugs, while that's not nessasarily a bad thing... it's just not me at all.

Someone who drinks, but doesn't do drugs is cool. As for sex, I guess.... I'd take someone who knows how to please, and please in return. My wife didn't know squat when we got married. She just chooses not to please now.

Oh well, guess we can't edit polls so just keep doing what yall are doing. Thanks for the replies. I'd personally rather have pure for both. Tons of substance abuse shows disrespect for life, and tons of sexual partners shows lack of loyalty. Of course the best is somewhere inbetween. Someones whos tried a bit of this and that and has learned from it.

Um, how about none of the above? I dislike extremes extremely.

I like people who view life with a moderate view, meaning they'll try something and if they like it, do it in moderation. I don't want to be with someone who isn't at least somewhat adventurous and willing to try new things. I also don't want to be with someone who has some kind of stuck-up high and mighty ideal about what sex is/what drugs do, because I've done both, and I'm not interested in being in a relationship with someone who is most likely going to judge me based on past/current behavior.

I like sex and drugs have had their place in my life. Personally, I want someone who can say the same. In my current relationship, he's done more of both, but I still wouldn't consider him "highly experienced." And that's exactly what I want.

It is a hypothetical situation, I think few people would actually desire either option. The point of this discussion is to find out which you think is worse and why. If one persues such lines of reasoning I've found that it can lead to insights into your personality. Most threads I create, operate on this principle. And failing to see this thread as such is a failure on my part in communication. I apologize.

I guess that sounded a little bad... What I really mean is, she enjoys pleasing me, but only when she feels like it. Her ideal way to please me is to have sex. Where I enjoy the fore play, touching, her being a little aggressive. Now she just does it now and again, but loves me to go down for extended periods.

What I really want is introduce a little excitement into it, maybe another person (or two).

I'm not complaining, our sex has really gotten better the longer we've been married.

I'd have to say I'd prefer to have someone somewhere in the middle. It is fine if they have tried a few drugs once or twice, but are not doing them on a day to day basis..I mean the hard drugs not caffeine. Alcohol isn't a big deal as long as it is in moderation. And as for sex, a few partners is fine. So I guess my choice would be to have someone who is moderately experienced.

Is the drug pure person pure and open-minded or pure and anti-drug/straight-edge/etc?
Is the drug experienced person responsible and self-supporting or addicted and dependent?

I voted Sex-Pure, only because there was no better answer.. but I CANNOT be with someone who refuses balance in any manner, especially in regards to sex or drugs. My life is ABOUT balance -- someone who refused sex/drugs altogether or someone who thought sex/drugs were life would equally drive me away.

there shoulda been some options that included both parts of the poll, and also some that gave a middle choice. i don't want someone who has 10 partners a year, but i also don't want a virgin. and they wouldn't necessarily hafta start having sex at 16, i certainly didn't start that early, though i know it's a statistical average. but as far as drugs, it really depends on the type. pot isn't so harmful, but LSD or coke? beer of course wouldn't bother me unless they were a total lush. weekend drinking is ok....
