Ok so after listening to the majority of the songs mentioned in this thread here's my 2 most creeped out chill inducing. The first which I will never listen to in the dark alone is Dillinger Esacep Plan-Come to Daddy. I near wept at the scariness of that. For creepiness in lyrics and vocal style Violent Femmes-Country Death Song wins. At the moment when he pushes his daughter into the well my entire body tingles because it invokes such a gruesome scene.

Oh yeah BTW... I cant believe songs by old-school horror-punk bands like the Misfits (Last Caress anyone?) haven't been mentioned.

In that same vein, The Independents - Bloody Night, Bloody Knife comes to mind. It's a fun, upbeat, ska-punk song.... about kidnapping the prom queen, and killing her, making her, thus, forever yours.

Ozzy - Mr. Tinkertrain, the song has some disturbing lyrics, but the begining of the song is what gets me

Anything ICP can be disturbing too.

A cover Metallica did, So What, but I don't know the original artist (especially the line, I fucked a goat So What)

Yes! It's disturbing AND funny!

So there I am listening to Bambi go on about how she can make all my dreams come true. And I say, "Oh yeah? Even the one I have where Jesus Christ is jackhammering Mickey Mouse in the doodoo hole with a lawn dart while Garth Brooks gives birth to something resembling a cheddar cheese log with almonds on Santa's tummy-tum?"

or

Day or so had passed when I popped the clutch, gave the tranny a spin, and slid on into The Stinky Pinky Gulp N' Guzzle Big Rig Snooze-A-Stop. There I was browsin' through the latest issue of Throb, when I saw Bambi starin' at me from the back of a milk carton. Well, my heart just dropped. So, I decided to do what any good Christian would. You cannot imagine how difficult it is to hold a half gallon of moo juice and polish the one-eyed gopher when you're doin' seventy-five in an eighteen-wheeler. I never thought missing children could be so sexy. Did I say that out loud?

so maybe you're right, and these are creepy songs. but i dont' think so. :] i guess maybe i've heard them so much that i'm just used to them, and i don't findy anything even slightly creepy about the musical style implemented in either of them. also, i see different things behind them than just what they are literally saying. for example: "rape me" is referring not specifically to nonconsentual sex but to the way the media fucks people over on a daily basis and largely influences the fate of many of the things they cover (ok, i guess this one maybe is a little creepy). as for "down with the sickness," it just sounds to me like they're trying to be creepy to create a certain image for themselves, and for me that doesn't work. and possum kingdom... i think i just love that song so much that its difficult for me to find it disturbing in any way.

The start of Flood on Undertow by tool is kinda creepy, but i find it almost forboeding, the way the wall of noise seems to advance
