The Random Mp3

Here's an interesting game to play. Go to your Mp3 playlist, set it on random, Hit next and then Tell what song was chosen, why you like it or any memories or experiences connected with the song.

For instance, I hit Random on My Winamp playlist and I get..

Gorrilaz - Starshine.

I downloaded this song when I was trying to find out whether I wanted to actually spend money on the Gorrilaz CD. It's got a nice Bass backround to it, and overall nice to listen to when trying to get to sleep at night.

Fountains of Wayne - Baby, One More Time

Fantastic cover of Britney Spears first hit. Equal parts hilarious and just good. A la Cake's cover of "I Will Survive"

Melt-Banana - Iguana in Trouble

This is a Japanese post-punk band. They remind me of a Japanese version of the Yeah-Yeah-Yeahs. They also have a musical Saw in some of their songs.

Celebration of the Lizard - The Doors

No real memories, this is only the third time I've actually heard the song. I love Jim's little speech at the beginning. He sounds like such a hippy, even though he wasn't really a hippy. It's an interesting song, to say the least.
