Jigsaw reverie
Maybe one day everything will click into places until then puzzled and broken faces and fractured skies on carpet or hung on walls by vapour trails braille of the sky that no-one can read save Atlus and he hardly has a hand to spare But does he care? Misty frames and window pains and bellicose carpet fibres cycling through my flip card bored hoard for memories that aren't of cigaromantic hazes.

Terror Alert Level Raised to "Fusia"
Chicken Little Sought for Questioning Telephones were ringing off the hook Thursday at the Entendreville emergency response unit, and the emergency workers were powerless to respond. It all started at 4:15 in the afternoon. Witnesses claim that, just before the catastrophe, one Chicken Little was prophesizing doom...again! One witness had this to say: "Yeah, I was just washing the car, when I see this little baby chicken running down the street, yelling that the sky was falling. The first thing I thought was wow, a talking chicken. But then, the sky really did break apart into hundreds of pieces." Soon after the sky broke apart, reality itself started to break apart too. "So, there I was, washing my car, and the damned thing broke in two! All of a sudden, one half disappeared, and was replaced by the top section of some lady. She looked at me, I looked at her, then one of us screamed like a little schoolgirl." Due to the shifting of space and time, navigation of Entendreville has become almost impossible. It took this reporter over eight hours to find the editor to turn in this report, and he was just in the next office! My epic journey took me through a moonlit garden, past the left foot of the sphinx, and under the golden gate bridge. Then, I won't even describe my trip to the bathroom! Several hours later, reality started to right itself again. Various reports have placed the time of repair to somewhere between 8:00 and 9:00 pm. Normally, this reporter wouldn't quote himself as a witness, but I have to know if anyone else noticed the following phenomenon. As pieces of reality around me started to fit back together, I caught a glimpse of a giant hand. The hand was very dirty, and smelled like cookies. All is well once again in the town of Entendreville, though. Emergency workers report no casualities from the odd circumstances of Thursday night. Congress has now declared that $1.2 billion dollars will be put into research to ensure that this never happens again. |

so alike and yet still not the same
light fills one so darkness hides a glance of illusion hints of a fit that all too soon really is a miss pieces left instead to play a game in which another found not the same a bridge to make across the space and pieces changed to something new

Twisting, turning, not quite right,
She can't give up without a fight. Determined stare, the raise of a brow, oooh, she just figured out how... What the fuhh??? How the hell? Through the one piece she just fell. Where'd she go? Will she be back? My knowledge of this, does so lack... So I shrug, but then I spy, how they fit from the corner of my eye... And so I put them correctly together, and think smugly that I'm so clever - however, I'm not so smart at all, just like she, I was the next to fall!

Those that look with just their eyes
See two pieces not quite joined I see space, broken by the shapes That hold the sky in each They reach, but cannot touch Incomplete without the other Empty space comes between them Shrinking over time Until the time comes When touching completes the sky When joining completes the path

(disclaimer) (written post poem) I have no personal experience with this, and it just popped into my head.. so excuse me if it doesn't make sense (/disclaimer)
I walk through my life and find odds and ends. each unique and all valuable. Hours spent teeming over lost menaings, years lost in seconds. I run through the maze of my mind, looking for nooks and crannies. with the wild hopes that someday, Ill be able to make sense of the chaos. A day in the rain laughing with friends, fading into a long slumber with no rest. Endless hours on the phone, reduced to white noise of a conversation long gone. Tender feelings of lovers shared, rememberd only by restless, numb limbs. Tastes beyond comprehension, droned out by these bland concoctions. As I sit in my gentle scream... drugged to oblivion, mentally grasping for the meaning of my lost life, and find only random pieces as I wait for darkness to come. ---------- Friends don't let friends drive drunk ---------- Last edited by silvertiger; 07-29-2005 at 08:48 PM.. |

These Two, but a part
fit together as a start a hundred pieces make the art analogy for life Only two seems not enough as if a diamond in the rough tarnished silver waiting buff analogy for life
