Bottled Water of choice?
I have been getting some flack in #tfp for my refusal to drink from the tap, so this is for all those out there that drink bottled water. What is your favorite type?
Personally, I stock up on Ice Mountain like it is going out of style. It has the best flavor of any of the spring waters. I refuse to drink that filtered stuff like Dasani. YUK!

I tend to drink from "the tap", but when I was living at home my Grandma insited on buying me bottled water because I wasn't drinking enough. The kind she got me tasted like carrots. It was disgusting. It said pure filtered water on it. Lies!
Anyway, is it the taste of tap water that keeps you from drinking it? Or... what? |

eek, i only drink tap water.
If it's cold yoiu can't normally taste anything bad? (probably cause your tongue is numb ) From a budgte point of view, i'd strongly advise getting used to tap water, especailly since you should be drinking 2 litres or so, minimum, of water a day. Over here 600ml is about $2 a bottle, so you don't wanna be spending 6 bucks a day or 42 dollars a week on water altohugh i don't know how youre buying it. Anyway, i had bottle/spring water a few times, from a massive jug (6 litre) at someones house and it tastes like it had been perfumed. eeewwww that was some nasty shit. Other bottled water tastes exactly like tap water, so i don't really know what the big deal is? |

Zephyrhills Natural Spring Water is the best, cold or warm. I try to keep it cold, but I can handle it luke-warm also. Evian is my second choice, everything else I can taste the minerals. Tap water is the same, too many minerals and a lot of tap water around here (Florida) has a Sulphur taste to it.

Evian. Have yet to find better bottled water. Tap filters aren't really a choice in college. I know there are ways to do it, but its just too much of a hassle when you can buy 32 bottles of water for like 4 or 5 bucks at sam's club =)
Also, Propel is really good. Its flavored, and usually I hate flavored water, but I reccommend trying it.

I used to always drink Aquafina, then I realized that Wl-Marts "Sam's Choice" water is much cheaper and tastes good, too. You can buy it in bulk from Sams Club for next to nothing compared to the big brands. |

When Im at home, I drink water from the tap, but here at school, the water tastes pretty nasty (old pipes). So I drink bottled water. I usually drink Deer Park--its cheap, and tastes pretty good. But Ill drink about anything. Heck, the last few cases I bought were Harris Teeter brand, which is nothing more than municipal water from somewhere else.

The best bottled water by far is Aberfoyle! Its one of the cheapest you can get, and in this case price is NOT an indicator of quality. I haven't used the tap for water for so long, and when I have to I hate it. If I can't get Aberfoyle when I'm out then Montclaire I find is the closest to it.

The tap water where i live is far superior to any bottled water. However, if for some reason i do need to buy bottled water, i make sure it's filtered as apposed to spring water as spring often contains chlorine. I'm pretty interested in keeping my teeth.

Since I'm in the middle east, the ONLY water we can drink is bottled water, so I've had a fair share of brands. My favorite so far is aquafina. Doesn't leave that funny metal taste that mineral waters. No funny flavors of it's own, just pure, natural spring water.

I think Evian tastes "dead". I don't know what is wrong with it..
But in the US, I'd say Poland Springs. Over here, Imsdal, norwegian springwater. Thouch, over here, 99% drink tap water so bottled water isn't that big.

For still water, I prefer Evian or Voss. Both have an incredibly clean, crisp taste that holds up even as the water becomes warm. Voss is a little hard to find around here, though. I can stomach most of them, though. These are just the ones I choose when possible.
For sparkling water (not the fizzy carbonated stuff you see in the kiddie section) I like San Pellegrino, Perrier, Voss Sparkling, and Luciano (or something like that, I've only seen it one place) or a Mexican one, Topo Chico maybe?

I usually get aberfoyle because it's cheap and I get it bottled mostly for the conveniance of being able to carry it around a lot. I also have a fridge that dispenses water and I put a filter on the pipe going to it so that works well too.

Evian, or some other =.
Normally I stick to tap water, crossed with a high % alcohol drink (kills the bugs). I never heard of anyone getting montezuma's revenge drinking tequila .
