Naturally, anything you inhale into your body (other than air) won't be too good for your body. Whether it's less harmful than cigarettes is debatable. I've heard a statistic that around 10 percent of users become addicted. I read that prolonged use can lead to paranoia and hallucinations. It's your decision to do it but always be educated about it.

I've read multiple studies claiming one marijuana joint is x-times more harmful than a cigarette, but I don't see too many ganj smokers burning through a pack of joints in half a day either.
As for the popular lowered sperm count, and crap like that, I don't believe they've actually been proven. |

i've heard that gettin high isn't as bad as gettin wasted. Why? Because drinkin kills brain cells, and i believe the smoking is only bad for the lungs. And it will only affect your lungs if you do it a tremendous amount. not bad will happen except if you get caught by cops or parents or something

It caused me to be extremly paranoid. SO it affected my mind when i was younger. I used to also pass out. This i have no clue about. I would litterly passout and convulse. I have never heard of this before happening to anyone before. So maybe it was just smoke in my lungs that did this to me.
One thing that i liked about smoking Ed. Is that i never had any urge to smoke cigarettes. Which i feel proud of. I cant stand that smell. :< Anyways these were the effects that happened to me. It can make you lazy to by just sittin around and kinda feeling hungry. |

very informative. And don't smoke so much, it makes it less fun later. I wish when I got high now, that it was like it was before I smoked for the hundreth time and after. |

Very hard on your lungs and it can bring out deep seeded psychological illnesses in people (who were succeptible to getting them anyhow) such as Schitzophrenia, Panic Disorder, and a few other fun things. On the flip side, it is a lot safer then any other drug out there including alcohol.

Smoking weed is addictive and harmfull to your body. The addiction is is for the biggest part mentaly, but thats the same for normal sigaretes. In The Netherlands smoking weed is legal, I don't smoke weed myself, I tried it a few times offcourse. The poeple I know are regular smokers (one or two a day) became a bit slow thinkers and somtimes they talk difficult

I can only speak from personal experience, but what I have found is...
1. As stated above smoke in your lungs is bad. As your cardio system deteriorates the less are able to work out and the less benefits you get from working out. 2. Prolly the worst is that it makes me lazy and complacent. I dont care about having a gut and dont feel like getting exercise.

Personally the two biggest challenges to my health is that I dont eat and I dont sleep. Pot makes me do both. There are other negative effects but over all eating and sleeping is more important to me.
For those people looking for an alternative high you can smoke damania herbs. It takes alot more smoking to get high and it cleans your kidneys out. It is used for people trying to get off pot. Just thought I would mention it. |

Depends on the purity of the grass you're smoking.
Some people dry out their weed as fast as they can using windex or other chemicals which ultimately winds up in your body. Other than that, I think it's okay for your body it's just your mind you have to worry about. After all you might get to a certain level of success even if you smoke, but think how far you could have gotten if you didn't. |

I smoke weed maybe 1 or 2 times a month, and I do not notice any effects..on the other hand, when I have done it more frequently(during summer, or whatever), I've noticed things like having trouble concentrating during the days when im not smoking it etc.....it depends on how much you do, really. Like anything, too much is bad for you, but if you only do it rarely I don't think there are any studies to proof it does any real damage to you that your body can't reccuperate from..

Alchohalics (So I've heard) are less productive then regular pot smokers.
Other then that, probabaly all the same bad shit that happens when you smoke cigerettes. Its not that weed is worse per say, but you inhale deeper, and hold it longer. |

Well I don't know for sure, all I know is the biggest two pot smokers I know seem permanently stoned. One will tell me the same stories repeatedly, while the other is emotionless 24/7
Just my observation... I know of no other people like this. To be fair, two other pot smokers I know smoke all day long and show and work hard at their jobs. Go figure. I think the word for them is "Rastas" |
