 The TFP Push-Up Challenge!!! 
		
		
		Somebody gave me an idea this week and I think there are probably some TFPers around here who will join me in this: 
	Let's collectively do 10,000? No... 50,000?? No... 75,000??? NO... 100,000?!?! NO!!! The approximate number of years the earth has been around push-ups by the end of 2025! (I think this will be one hell of a quarter century.) Now, my roommate and I are trying to do this just between the two of us in our own End-of-the-Lease 10,000 Push-Up Challenge, so I'm going to be churning out as many as my little body can produce. I did some today, so the current total is 60. Who's with me??? Huh? Huh??? :D :thumbsup:  |

This is a great thread because I recently started doing push ups fairly intensively. One of my long term goals is to be able to do 100 pushups in one set (Already up to 50. Yeah.  Okay, I just did a really sad (but difficult) 10.  I usually do them with my arms a little wide, but I'm trying to do them off of push-up bars (actually, it's my doorgym on the floor) so that I can get deeper... and that makes my arms have to be closer together than I'm used to.  This should get interesting.

	(in case you are wondering i do 10 sets of 35 pushups and then immediately do a round of bicep curls, take a 15 to 30 second break and then do the next set. when i am done the 10 sets i then do 10 sets of 10 with a 10 to 20 second break between sets (5 deep breaths between each set) it hurts but its good) edit: i didn't get to the end of the thread so adjust the count accordingly, whoops!  |
