Not that I wouldn't want you aboard, GakFace, but I think I speak for everyone involved in this adventure that too much time and energy have been spent developping the plot to just let it fizzle away. Some of us have been in this since the very beginning (myself, Cubby and GoldenOurobouros) and I believe that a proper, epic conclusion would be in order before even thinking of ending this. Based on all of this, here are my suggestions:

- Beg Rogue to keep doing this outside of the TFP, meaning that he would e-mail his posts privately to someone, who would then copy it onto the thread.
- Elect a new GM amongst our group, preferably one with experience in such things, who would give up his/her character, get the lowdown from Rogue and keep this thing going.
- Keep going without a GM, which means individual contributions would keep the plot moving. However, I've done this in the past, and it tends to get confusing.
- Stop the game short with one final confrontation that would happen very soon. This would conclude the game, but in an unsatisfactory way, IMHO, due to our investment in it.

Well, that's all I have. I'm really upset as well that Rogue is leaving and hope that everything will turn out fine for him. I, too, would like to know why he left, but ultimately that's none of our business.

Rogue would have to be the best GM I have played with so far.. I was thinking of maybe setting up a website.. copying all posts to there and yeah.. Only thing is is that we'd have to continue this by email correspondance to do it that way...

Man this Sucks i Know i wasnt part of the Original but (Bob biter, Cubby and GoldenOurobouros), I feel like i have been with you from the start.. I read the WHOLE thread before i started. I feel very Involved and i am sure so do all the others That read or didnt read the begining!

I wouldnt mind taking this to another Forum that Rougue is going to. And maybee Golden can do the website for the first post for anyone wanting to read up on us!

But Without Rougue i feel like not even Continuing, Becouse I have a hard time keeping up with this (School and all). but this is my way of Unwinding at the end of my days. Or even a great start to others!

Hopefully Rouge can find a Way to continue!

OK, I've just got an e-mail back from Rogue saying that he would also be sad to see this end. He endorses the option of us picking a GM amongst our group, who would give up his/her character (or perhaps control it on a more subdued level) and get all the quest info. IMHO, this seems to be the more sensible and expeditious way to go about this.

Therefore, I propose to let those who wish to be the new GM come forward, so the rest of us can vote on who we want at the helm. I, for one, would be honoured to GM this great adventure, but would like to hear from the rest of you guys as well.

I was Jokin'.. I know this is a big thread and you all want it to continue. I've had my fair share of RPG's.. and I remember one where I purposely HAD to stop playing my character.. I hated doing it. I've had others where I simply lost contact with the GM.... or we started a new one... It sucks, I know.. I was just joking. Although I wouldn't mind a second one as well... :)

I simply never joined as I've been too busy gaming to backread the whole thing.

I vote for Bob as well if he is indeed interested. I would but I just don't have the time to DM right now. Besides, I've only DM'd like one game before so I don't think I'd be the best to continue this.

(another suggestion i had was to get Rogue to come back on with another pseudonym just to DM the game... :) No one would need to know....)

Some how I don't think that will work, nor do I think Rogue would be interested. Maybe I am speaking out of turn, but that sounds very hypocritical - I don't beleive Rogue is hypocritical. If he wants to come back, I am sure he will come back as Rogue. Just my view

I also would say Bob would be our best pick to take over.

I definitely do not want to see the game ended prematurely.
