Master of Orion (PC) - classic strategy X-Com: UFO Defense (PC) - classic strategy Myth 2 Soulblighter (PC) - multiplayer strategy Dark Age of Camelot (PC) - MMORPG overall, X-Com is my favorite. pretty old and not up to par to today's games as far as graphics go, etc. but I used to spend a lot of time on it. |

Silent Hill (I'd have to agree with TerresqueÜ
, even though I haven't finished eaither of them the Silent Hill games are the only horror games I feel are truly chilling) Other Top Games: Halo GTA3 and Vice City Half-Life Final Fantasy 7 (I think it was 7) and, of course, METAL GEAR SOLID (the grandaddy of all mossion stealth games) |

Tecmo Bowl - I've played a lot of more recent games but no where near as much as that one. Something nice about having very few buttons to learn as well (dammit I'm old and clumsy) PC Wizardry 7 - Fabulous character system and world. Very long game with multiple different paths but not as unstructured as Daggerfall. |

My top picks, in no particular order:
Monkey Island II Quake II Counter Strike Super Mario Kart Diablo II LoD The Lost Vikings Day of the Tentacle Soul Calibre I like these games mainly because they have a lot of staying power, and I find myself wanting to play with them again every so often.

Hands down best: Halo - For combat evolved, there's no power greater than X. This game is so great that a video web comic series has come out which uses the game graphics and adds voices to them - really hilarious stuff goes on at redvsblue.com.
SW: Knights of the Old Republic - it's like the star wars of a movie (more than that of ep 1/2) combined with a pretty good d20 RPG system... it can be a very addicting game. Outlaw golf for the xbox is also pretty fun... for those of you that hate sports games (myself included) it's still great - it's like the SSX:Tricky of golf. To give you an idea, 3 of the characters are a stripper named Summer, a wanna be rapper named Ice Trey, and a "Latino lover of himself" named El Suave. Everquest would be here considering the time I've spent on it, but some of the stupid things the devs do can really make me hate that game... Tribes and Half life are also some pretty good shooters for the PC... I still play both, actually... |

there was a freeware mechwarrior game for the amiga that was just the bomb. I had an amiga 500 that I would take over to a friend of mines house and about 10 of us would all sit around it and play this hex map turn based version of mechwarrior. Looking back it was pathetic but I loved every minute of it.
