I've had a few too many, too. But I like the idea of casting a spell to curse the government.

Here's a nice pic I just stumbled upon:

Nice! & 24042!

BadNick 01-06-2011 12:29 PM

Hopefully you've achieved a Zen balance with that palindrome. On the other hand, my post is simply a lame attempt at making this thread longer.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-06-2011 12:44 PM

So what, if I take lots of pleasure,
in imagining making things up again?
Pretending it's otherwise pains me.

I would massage your shoulders if it made you feel better, and you gave me a beer.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-06-2011 08:45 PM

May I talk to you?
Your input's more important
than my output is.

BadNick 01-06-2011 09:08 PM

I dated a masseuse for a while and strangely enough, she only massaged me a couple times. Maybe she realized that I thought she just wasn't quite strong enough. Now my son's best friend's dad, who actually is my friend now that we hang around together once in a while, he's a chiropractor and I find his massages and adjustments enjoyable. He just gave me the treatment a few days ago as a return favor for me fixing a gear motor on one of his chiropractor tables.

This might be an appropriate place for me to again post a photo of me in my 1st prize winning Miss America get up ...but I shall refrain from such insanity.

BadNick 01-08-2011 09:44 AM

I was longing for another post so here I am to satisfy my selfish motives.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-08-2011 11:22 AM

Which way did they go?
It seems your selfish motives
are invisible.

Hmmm pie. I love pie. If had a pie I'd eat some, but all I had was an Asian pear so I just ate that. I was very sweet. When I was a sophomore and even more sophomoric than I am now, I thought it was clever to say Spring means

hey, I just noticed those word guys are catching us again. Actually, I don't even mind if they pass us so we can get psyched and pass them again. Fun games.

I hate summerhttp://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gD0t2VEPw7.../s400/Fire.JPG

BadNick 01-09-2011 09:25 AM

fire? I thought you guys were being flooded! Not to mention the place is being overrun by frogs. This sounds very biblical. Oz, the new holy land.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-09-2011 10:55 AM

Oz has been holy
since Lyman & his users
presented what is.

I take it you used
the term 'holy' more loosely
than I just used 'Oz'?

BadNick 01-09-2011 11:39 AM

You might know what I meant better than I do.

But one possibility is that I might have been referring to the porous sandstone formations in Purnululu Australia; Purnululu is the name given to the sandstone area of the Bungle Bungle Range by the Kija Aboriginal people who, as far as I know, are usually correct. These sandstone formations are quite holy:

BadNick 01-09-2011 06:39 PM

maybe I meant holey

BadNick 01-10-2011 07:35 AM

2 + 4 + 0 = 6 + 0 so if you take the 0 off both sides, you have 2 + 4 = 6 and if you subtract 6 from both sides you have 0 = 0 which to me proves the mystical nature of "0" since we took it away from both sides but it still ends up being there when all is said and done.

BadNick 01-10-2011 01:21 PM

niner niner ...that means the "other guys" are 9 posts from overtaking this thread. The excitement and anticipation are giving me a buzz.

BadNick 01-10-2011 09:12 PM

For some reason it's very quiet in here. Perhaps others have accepted that this thread will fall behind again and aren't interested in continuing. I'll keep on for a bit and then move on since I don't want this to be my special thread. Plus, the potential dynamics and outcome if the "other thread" passes this one again might be interesting. I'm looking forward to see what happens.

May the best thread win ;)

East coast is under water, and the west coast is ablaze....

Queensland is 1,852,642 km2 and supposedly 60% is now under water, up from it's usual 6.5%.

Everyone has water views, it would seem.

BadNick 01-11-2011 03:48 PM

I'm glad it's only an electronics problem, Ocm? Unlike our plagued friends down under...good luck Zooks. I know you guys down there are resilient but I also hope you're waterproof. Maybe there's a problem with those "reverse vortex" drains south of the equator. We might be in a magnetic reversal of earth's poles, which will stall the vortex of water spinning down the drains, and until it reverses and unstalls, the water will back up...I wonder if that could be it? Or maybe just too much rain?

My new motto: he who laughs last laughs longest.

Ourcrazymodern? 01-12-2011 08:52 AM

That's a fine motto.
Have you heard some good jokes lately?
If so, please tell us.

2+4+0=6=6

Ourcrazymodern? 01-12-2011 12:11 PM

I have a good joke:
Does avoiding the monster
make any diff'rence?

Yes, it's a riddle,
my theory too obvious:
The answer is yes.

BadNick 01-12-2011 08:38 PM

I'm not a good joke person as far as remembering or telling. So I found a silly one but I changed the names to protect the innocent:

Sarah Palin and one of her fellow hunting friends are out in the woods when the friend suddenly falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. Sarah whips out her cell phone and calls the emergency services. She gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?”

The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard.

Sarah's voice comes back on the line. She says: “OK, now what?“

Think I'll help this thread along seeing it isn't the longest one anymore :)

I've faith since being longest
is our goal, not theirs.)

BadNick 01-14-2011 10:23 AM

hi fill23ca, thanks for making this thread a bit longer.

I first thought the other thread might run out of words eventually, but it seems they don't have a rule against reusing words...alas.

Ocm? ...I did a double-take on your "New blood" comment. Luckily it's not a full moon or it would send shivers down my backbone, shaking all over...Guess Who

Ourcrazymodern? 01-14-2011 02:16 PM

I can't guess at that!
Would 'fresh meat' be more polite?
It's input that counts.

I hate so many other trivial threads; (even tho I don't care enough for anything to constitute using that word, it's a cliche that works) I wonder how many other members hate me, and my trivialness?

I'm not sure where I've gone. Hopefully I'll return with friends.

Happy Belated Birthday, TLTE. Glad you made it to the party, Jet.

I don't try very hard.

I'm right bad at my self-inflicted descriptor of perfectionist.

What's up with you guys? Are you watching the divisional playoffs with me in spirit?
