I'm literally on Pandora everyday while at work, and on it right now (at work.) I've started listening to it a bit at home too.

Guns Are Drawn played for me earlier today. :D

Jetée 12-17-2007 12:59 PM

Unbelievable. The next sing that opened started out with the lyrics "It Never Happened..."

I did decide to fire it up finally because of both Pig and your praise of his recommendation. He recommended me to three very useful services now. But, I was able to give him an invite to Joost, so I guess we're squarsies. :D

How any stations have you started up?

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:10 PM

12, you?

Mine are:
Atmosphere
Eyedea & Abilities
Dennis Brown
Wu-Tang Clan
Jedi Mind Tricks
Brother Ali
Rage Against the Machine
Mos Def
Burning Spear
GZA
Peter Tosh
The Roots

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:15 PM

Whoa. :surprised:

I only have the one, but it is a grand accomplishment because I like disarray/completion, so I have about 20 artist seeds.

I notice it goes in streams, so at one moment, there is rap then punk, then piano, then some rock, then some more r&b...

I believe i have about forty pages of thumbed-up songs due to about two-fours daily of listening for a straight month.

It is like a second music library, this one exposing me to artists i might like to hear more of, and the itunes showcasng the ones i already like.

Just a sec... there we go: http://www.pandora.com/people/je7stream

ring 12-17-2007 01:17 PM

thank you for all the exposure and introductions to music guys.
appreciative.

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:20 PM

  • Mf Doom

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:20 PM

Nice, I actually haven't bookmarked any songs haha.

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:24 PM

It really is. I had no idea I like Wordsworth, or Rob Zombie, or The Jam, or Arctic monkeys, but I have gained to like this diverse accomodation. :D

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:29 PM

A lot of hip hop artists I'd never heard of until Pandora and quite a few of them I like. I need to go music shopping again soon.

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:30 PM

How do you add friends on the site?

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:35 PM

Under 'Your Profile' at the bottom left, it says 'Bookmarked People.'

You have to enter an email, I can PM you mine.

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:39 PM

Alright, sure.

Oh, I just found it, under stations, right?

And I belive my profile already shows my email-address, in case you wanted to give my station a listen.

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:47 PM

PM sent. Your email doesn't show up, just "je7stream."

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:53 PM

@Gmail.

I wonder if your profile shows the same as mine, taking your e-mail address as your name-link?

Esoteric 12-17-2007 01:57 PM

I think so. :o

Jetée 12-17-2007 01:59 PM

:o along with  are not used as often as I would like.

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:04 PM

 definitely

TYPO OMGZ CAN'T SPEEL LOLZ

spell

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:06 PM

Darn. I thought biznatch had come back for a moment there. :(

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:08 PM

Where's ring and OCM and MOAB damnit!

BadNick and Zooks too!

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:11 PM

It is the season roll... it used to be NoSoup, CSFilm, skier, Ishmal, Sharon, hotzot, and Ch'i... we're the second generation.

The third generation seems to be tiding... and it is leaving behind some of the weathered.

Let's see the touch and go in action for once. :D

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:12 PM

I plan to contribute as long as I can, when I can. Sharon has been MIA for awhile.

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:12 PM

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:14 PM

Se7en posts in a row. :O

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:18 PM

Well, it is a bit cold, my touch is not what it once was...

let's leave that regard, from what I vaguely remember, you joined at abou the the same time Ch'i fell out, OCM was a fledgling, and along with Sharon, you contributed some.

It gets hard to keep track, but I am able to divide this thread in parts and chapters, based on my intricate knowledge and superb standing of being only one of two people in the world to have read this entire thread, from start to finish.

They show as double-mergred for me. The nerve of this thread! The one I have mastered!!!

I mustav mistooken thees widgets for those there whoozits and discombobulated the formula.

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:32 PM

They've automerged now.

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:34 PM

Now, as in there was a past? This thread is evolving into an anomorphous being... scary.

Whatever where was I?

Ah, I transgressed a new topic. I guess my best combo-hit finisher was for a total of 160 in whatsay, 20 minutes. I think that was about 30 pages ago.

Esoteric 12-17-2007 02:37 PM

CRAZYNESS!

http://asymptotia.com/wp-images/2007...from_movie.png

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:41 PM

Yeah, it was pages 223 thru 227.

I had other spurts of anywhere from four to 54 consecutives, but that tops the list.

I really like this page's flow:
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...99777&page=238

ring 12-17-2007 02:42 PM

Am I weird? I've read the whole thread also.

hey there folks.

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:47 PM

Add 1. For now. I'll have to make a longest thread test of ultimate knowledge. The Elite Three. (You better have read it all, 'cause i really like that title I just made up) :D

ring 12-17-2007 02:53 PM

:D Even slogged through the bottles of beer on the wall. worse than the begats.

Jetée 12-17-2007 02:55 PM

I coincidentally happened upon this page that seems to be the most complete and real:

Jetée 12-17-2007 03:02 PM

But as you would have it, the two most-striking posts of this page are by the two top current posters here:

BadNick 12-17-2007 08:11 PM

damn, I did a double-take to make sure I was in the right thread since there is so much "sense" in the last couple pages, I thought we lost the "non".

I've never played at Pandora but it looks like a very interesting way to explore music ...and I love music. I guess who doesn't? I'm so busy now with Christmas coming up and last couple days of work with a million loose ends I have to tie up before I skip out Wednesday until after the new year ...but after Wednesday this week I'll explore the music.

That dessert section a little while ago here reminded me of these little crunchy choco things I purchased on a whim last week at Costco. They are Belgian chocolate crispy Delacre crepes. I don't exaggerate when I admit I ate almost the whole box myself and I'm not usually a sweets person. So this week I went back and bought 7 more boxes to hand out as tasty little presents. http://www.delacre.com/history/index.html
