I baked the squash whole, this morning.
So much easier to cut it when its soft, And I do believe that cooking it with the seeds inside gave it an even nuttier flavor. I am trying to figure out this new scanner, so I can share some of my photography with you all. I am a dinosaur. Last edited by ring; 11-29-2007 at 09:14 AM.. |

Excuse me.
I need more olives, and a brain. (I can't seem to sleep, so I'm going to Rainbow, in search of a brain.) ((Probably I will only get some olives))

I also love olives ...and good olive oil which I pour on almost everything. Talk about olives, my recent return to straight up gin martinnis after years of plying thru vodkas was spurred by tasting Hendrick's gin for the first time a few weeks ago, my sister-in-law turned me on to it. It's pretty good stuff, good flavor, and since I like veggies I even went for the trendy thin sliver of cucumber in the glass, which gives a nice fresh little taste at the end. So my project over the coming holidays is to taste test all gins that I've never tasted.

Maybe I should change my signature.
The entire manuscript of War and Peace would be too annoying though. where am I @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@? When I was married to my stingy Ex and the urge to paint was a happening, It forced me to find all sorts of different mediums to play with, Nail Polish, Ketchup, used Tea Bags, Beet Juice..... He actually did me a favor by his flat refusal to fund the arts. I thank him for giving me a tool to expand. Just like TFP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last edited by ring; 11-29-2007 at 06:10 PM.. |

Hail to the Zookster.
Your avatar looks appropriatley festive this morn. I have no glandular globuals to parade for you. How are you ? I considered starting a journal, but I have been wary of leaving any hard copy behind. No ideas rationalize, man.
Just turned off the online playlist, tuning in to the radio talk. Also playing Smash.

Smash regarding morality is what is decisive. The end of the moral interpretation of the world, which no longer has any sanction after it has tried to escape into some beyond, leads to nihilism. “Everything lacks meaning” (the untenability of one interpretation of the world, upon which a tremendous amount of energy has been lavished, awakens the suspicion that all interpretations of the world are false). Rationalistic tendency, yearning for Nothing. (Playlists Online is not the culmination of a thoroughly moralistic development; its nihilism is therefore full of morality that is not overcome: existence as punishment, existence construed as error, error thus as a punishment—a moral valuation.) Philosophical attempts to overcome the “moral God” (Abbot, Costello, Elvis). Overcoming popular ideals: the sage; the saint; the poet. The antagonism of “true” and “beautiful” and “good".
