Indeed. Game on fresnelly.
I was actually searching for an image of something else in the area and was amazed to find out that these petroglyphs could be found online. I had grandparents who lived in Assinaboia, Saskatchewan and this it one of the locations that they took me about 18-20 years ago. At the time, you had to open a barb wire fence to acccess the two-rut road. There was a plywood sign asking people not to camp overnight and to not leave garbage. I believe there is another site, about a 3 minute drive away over rough terrain. I'm saddended to think that it may have been lost forever. It was hard to find then, and the person who did know the location can't walk anymore. Incidently, as I started looking for good images of this location, apparently no one can agree on who carved these when. Sometime after the last ice age, sometime before about 200 years ago. |

Okay, this might be a tough one. It's definitely not in Toronto and I'm proud to say, I took this myself:

Closer to Banff
Hint: It feeds a nearby town

Canmore it is
This runs down into the town from the Spray Lakes Resevoir, nestled in the pass between the east end of Mt. Rundle and Ha Ling Peak. There's a great, not too hard, hike up from the Canmore Nordic Centre. They filmed the plane crash scene for the movie The Edge, starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, in the resevoir. Game on Sticky!

You all (except Charlatan) have the right idea.
It is Montreal. I am looking for a more specific answer as this place is well known. I will accept answers that are fairly close to the actual answer. To get an idea of the scale...if you look at the top of the picture you can see buildings. Hint: This picture was taken in 1966 (not by me).

"Highway 20, Turcot Interchange and Highway 13, Montreal"
I cheated by googling it. Does it still count? Am I even right? I think it is: I found the image: http://bilan.usherbrooke.ca/bilan/pa...otos/3054.html

cellophanedeity, that is close enaough for me and I certainly don't care if you googled it.
It is the Turcot Interchange but is is actually the crossings of highway 20 and highway 15 (which to the right of where the picture begins is the Decarie Expressway). The grounds in the top right of the image are the Turcot Yards (rail yards).
