Cheers, the drunk thread!
I searched for a "drunk" thread but no drunk thread came up. What better place than title nonsense!
I just drank 6 8% beers! I am hosed! I haven't drank in forever, no money eh? But cheers to anyone that is there with me in the land of drunkeness! Cheers, hell no.... double cheers! Kris.

I'm looking for any drink that people would consider a "surefire" way to get drunk, I've always had trouble getting even good and tipsy, though I'm relatively certain that most of it is due to the fact that I'm WAY too uptight. The only thing that I've managed to get "drunk" with is Bacardi 151 and good God that stuff is harsh, so any suggestions, with recipes of course, would be greatly appreciated!

A rum & coke at home to warm up, dinner, then a large lemon sojuj (kind of like a screwdriver, except soju instead of vodka, and lemon instead of orange juice) and then a healthy dose of scotch when I got home. Not drunk, but I am feeling good.
Liquidlight, I used to love starting off with some strong Irish coffees. I had a friend who was really into coffee, so it was fresh roasted, ground in his home, brewed so good, then add several shots of Bailey's to give you that warm toasty feeling. Then I would finish off with Everclear Orange Juice Screwdrivers and/or rum and coke (mixed with regular strength rum). The irish coffee was awesome since it helped us maintain a drunk while at the same time keeping us awake for those late night LAN games. So tasty.

I love Southern Comfort 100 proof.
You could try some well mixed Everclear too.

You fill a shot glass up with Baileys and you drop that shot glass into a glass full of irish whiskey (or maybe even Irish Ale). we played quarters while drinking these. After 3 of these things, we had a hard time just hitting the table, so we kinda forgot about the whole "get it into the cup" thing. |
