Rhyming Slang
Not sure if this is big in NZ, but over here, especially with the boys, rhyming slang rears it's head whenever possible. Here's a few of my favourites...
Pig's ear/Britney Spears: Beer/Beers - "Pass me a coupla Britney Spears will ya?" Harold Holt: Leave - "Where's Latch?" "Oh, he's done the Harold Holt" Jimmy Riddle: Piss - "Shit I'm bustin for a Jimmy Riddle" Bobby Lim: Swim - "Who's up for a Bobby Lim?" My all time favourite... Jayden Leski: Eski, also known as a 'Moe Toddler' - "Shit I hope someone remembered to bring a Moe Toddler" or "There's shitloads of pig's ears in the Jayden Leski mate" Please add more!

Some of your translations don't rhyme, as rhyming slang should.
Harold Holt should translate to Bolt (as in to do the bolt) And Jimmy Riddle is Piddle, not piss. Some others are: Dogs eye = Pie Dead Horse = sauce (so you can order a dogs eye with dead horse) Joe Blake = snake Butchers hook = look (get a butchers at the tits on her!) Skyrocket = pocket Will add more when/if I think of them |

@Neptune: I was actually giving you people some credit by not spelling it right out for you...
