Stuffed Cabbage, AsianStyle
So, I had a bunch of ingredients and a moment of creativity. I didn't measure anything, so pretty much it's to taste.
1/2 lb ground chicken 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, minced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 splashes of low sodium soy sauce 1 chili pepper, minced 1 heaping tbs of chili sauce (the asian variety) 2 large pieces of Napa or Chinese Cabbage (the unbendable part removed) Mix all ingredients together and form into 2 oval shapes Take an oval, and add it into the cabbage leave and wrap like a burrito ( I couldn't explain how I wrapped it, I just did. Repeat for remaining ovals. Put in oven safe dish, splash wiht some terayaki sauce or some soy sauce cover with tin foil Put dish in toaster oven (becase I hate cleaning the real oven) at cook until chicken is cooked, I used an thermomter that said chicken was hot enough... Enjoy... Kinda like asian hamburgers with cabbage buns.. but the ginger made them taste awesome...
