The problem with the Progressive girl is at first they unintentionally had a half quirky, half serious commercial that came out that got better than expected results. Then they simply ran it into the ground and made her full on quirky/nerdy and now it's just nerve grating annoyance. They took a good thing and ran it into the ground.
