these charges don't have a thing to do with michael jackson's talent, generosity or childhood.
some part of me empathizes with anyone being sent to jail but that's what needs to happen. whether michael jackson is some emotional developmentally-arrested peter pan manchild is irrelevant. those children he slept with were not.

Man, where to begin my short tangent here lol.. but anyways.
I liked a few of his songs, then grew tired of his lameness of a celebrity. When i saw him hang a child, (speculations are still out wether its a live or doll), out a bedroom window.. My mind was made up.. the dude had to go down. (he is a dude right?) then the child thing miffed me.. wondering? read my sig below heh. now they got a chance. soon this sorry sucker will have inmates singing his song "beat it" to him day and night. yeah see, no matter what prision you go in.. no matter what they had done.. remember this. they hate child molesters.. they usually get owned. hey M.J. lol that glove trick wont work with you like it did with O.J.

I dont know- my gut reaction to the man is and always has been aversion- I think that he is guilty, but despite this I am (as usual) pissed at the media's handling of the situation- also, much of my reaction has no doubt been shaped by the media's portrayl, and I doubt that any of us would like the minute details of our lives showcased to the world- all in all its a bad scene- and I doubt it will leave the world more enriched or improved

I agree with Gak, Numist and Lordjeebus.
I feel very sorry for the guy, he is obviously extremely fucked up but that does not make him a child abuser. I am however not 100% sure that he isn't as you can never be sure. If my kid had been abused i wouldn't settle for money I would want justice and i think it is suspicious that they did settle for it. I believe innocent until proven guilty so we will have to wait and see. |

Now it is being reported the company he and his lawyer chartered the plane from that took them from Las Vegas to L.A. taped their conversations and has been trying to sell those tapes to media outlets. Now I'm no MJ fan, but that's just low.
From CNN: "Geragos said he and Jackson were recorded while flying between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Santa Barbara, California, where the singer surrendered to authorities on suspicion of child molestation Thursday. Geragos said his legal team obtained a restraining order from a court in Los Angeles that prohibits XtraJet, the airline that he said placed the cameras aboard the plane, from disseminating tapes of the conversations." Don't suppose that the celebs that can afford to charter those jets will be doing so in the future.

You know, to be honest, I have this strange feeling that this whole thing is bullshit. I'm still stuck on the fact th at R. Kelly got off and no one has heard too much about the outcome of a idiot who actually videotaped himself with minors. Geeezzz, how stupid could you frigg'n be. But, Jackson on the other hand, he may be weird and a "bit" (haha) color tainted still hasn't had sound evidence presented to the public. Hell, I can convince my 13 yr old daughter to admit that Jackson fondled her and make her like it for $20 million. Honestly, think about it. WHAT WOULD YOU DO FOR $20 MILLION DOLLARS USD?
Just a lil to the left, no, a lil more Ok, curve it up, higher, higher.... Ahhhhh, that's the spot...... lol

Oh yeah, if you think Jackson is a menace, what do you think about all these dayum priests pocking these young boys all day everyday. That is a mother#@$@#%$ shame, and who's doing something about that? The Pope can't even control his peeps, actually, I wonder how many he's had himself....
Just something to ponder.....

Here's an interesting outlook. Stanley Crouch's opinion piece on R. Kelly has a couple of things to say about M.J. too. The fact that M.J. leads such a bizarre lifestyle as it is, he gets a lot less flak from the press than R. Kelly.

if they send him to prison hes going to wish he was still a normal black man instead of the little white girl he is now. im pretty sure most prisons keep sex offenders together away from the other prisoners to keep them from getting killed. but that also means he would be grouped with all the rapests.
Just a thought in case everyone else didnt think of it. |

I would say - first of all - I am suspicious that people making the allegations are going to law firms, and not the police. What is the motive - what is the motive of the first person you dropped their case in 1993 when they were paid off? if I had been abused, I would want justice, and I wouldnt touch the money of the person who did it to me.
I am not sure Jackson is morally responsible for his actions - whatever they are, in a very real sense I am not sure that he does understand what is right and wrong in this regard. I think it is impossible for him to have a fair trial - clearly he has done things which are impropper, and I think he will be sent down, in my opinion it would be most appropriate for him to be committed to physciatric care... although I am not sure he will ever get better, People can point at his hard childhood, but as has been pointed out, mant people have lived through worse and broken the cycle... Jackson has had more opportunities than most, but everything he has had has corrupted him. I just think he is not sane.

I don't see how any of you could POSSIBLY have enough information to decide whether or not Jackson is a pedophile/pedarest/whatever.
You simply don't have any good evidence...this is something our justice system will have to decide. It seems like whenever these court cases get put on tv, everybody has to act as though they're some sort of expert. It really is disgusting to me. I guess I just don't like to see people judge others unless they know of their actions first hand.
