Old Italian Man Weilding Pizza Cutter
I used to work in this Pizza shop. The owner was this nice old Italian man. One day while i was on a delivery, i accidently cut this other car off in traffic. The guy who i happened to cut off was some angry as fuck football player and his mates, and he decided to come after me. So, when i got back to work i was followed in by this angry dude. He starts abusing me. I was pretty diplomatic about the whole thing, and apologetic too. Suddenly, the old Italian man appears from somewhere, he is holding the pizza cutter, and screaming 'GET OUT OF MY SHOP!' The footballer guy took one look into those unreasoning glazed over Italian eyes and realised he stood no chance. He ran away.
Just a good memory i thought id share... |

^^ Yes it would. I think everyone uses the other ones these days depending where you are cause they're much quicker. I think in NY they still use the rollers though cause the pizza there is usually soft rather than crispy so the first cutters cut the pizza much better.
Asta!!

I worked in the same pizza shop as Almostaugust. We used the roller cutters. If done right they are heaps quicker thatn the long knife type ones. I used to cut a family pizza in about 1.5 seconds. We used to have comps to see who could be the quickest.
Similar experience happened to me. I was working with this guy. We started having a muck around sparring fight. He picked up the pizza cutter. I picked up the pizza flipper and we started dueling around the shop. He, being bigger than me moved in close and started grappling. He managed to disarm me. I ran out of the shop to my car. I was learning how to weild a stock whip at the time. I grabbed my whip. So there we were in the car park. I was cracking my whip repeatidly and he was trying to get inside my range to slash me. In the end he gave up and went inside. I put my whip away and followed. It was totally forgotten. Ah the good old days. I have many fond memories of that place. More stories to follow... |

My goodness. I had no idea working in a pizza restaurant was so exciting. Whips and cutters. Whew! I might have to look into a career change.
