Ask a Jaeret
Hi. My name is Jaeret. I am not a Muslim, nor am I a Jew. I am not a republican, I am not a democrat, and I am not independent. I don't vote. I have never attended a rally, and the only charity I have ever given to is S.E.T.I. I pay my taxes, I am a pretty decent human being. I just don't have a label, which makes my life less interesting. Because I don't have a label, I can't get pandered to, I can't be provoked, I can't be persuaded to follow the crowd.
Fuck the crowd. Every label you put on yourself is another label that can be used against you; used to judge you. I guess I am lucky that I have never been asked "what are you?" How do most people answer that? I couldn't. I couldn't use religion, political views, I could say that I am American, or white, but that isn't who I am. That is what I was born as, something I had no control over. I might as well say that I am a dark haired boy for as much as that matters. I am not trying to be cynical or ironic when I say that I am unique. There isn't another person out there just like me. No one shares my exact same views or ideas of how things would be better. I'll be dammed if I put a label on myself. Think about that next time you are in church, or at the democratic nation convention, or at the country club, or doing Meth behind a grocery store. Once you shed the labels, only then can you truly have your own ideas or be totally free.

I think you're following the crowd.
And this major confluence of "asking" threads seems more like arrogance and conceitedness for some to label themselves as an authority of whatever they'd like to ally themselves to; I'm not judging them or their motives, I'm just not in an asking mood at this moment, or seeking any knowledge at this point either... I know what I know, and any insight into another group of people is going to come to me through multiple revelations and experience amongst the arena at large, not from some throwaway ponderance of the minute. I do very much like your preface, though.

I'm as unique as you are, I feel that no one thinks exactly the same way or has the same beliefs, which is why labels don't work. I was poking mild good natured fun at the "ask a ___" threads by providing an alternative view, a view that you don't need a label to be a normal person. That was all.

Do you have a backbone? I don't enjoy labels personally, but if you have beliefs about ANYTHING you will get labeled something eventually whether you like it or not.
If nothing gets you fired up what's the point of doing anything?

I've never been labeled anything at all, so I can't quite grasp samcol's reference to a "label police" present in society. I've been called evil more times than I care to remember, but that doesn't mean I'll roast your kittens in my pit of despair. I filled that up long ago to make way for my tennis court of turmoil.

Primer is used after painting one's walls, right, or am I confusing the process of the namesake?

Primer is first. 2 coats if necessary, then you paint.

Vigilante, you are doing an awesome job! You want to pick up some extra work as me during the week? The pay is shit, and you get no respect, but at least you can have the piece of mind that you are, in fact, making a difference in the lives of... well... me.

No he didn't give me power of attorney. Wait. So you're telling me I can be sued becau...? Hogwash, I say. You're lying. *click* See, now you could be having that much fun if you paid me that nominal fee

How often do you beat your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/significant other?
Why do you believe so strongly in tattooing tiny clown faces on the head of your penis? Would you care to join me in the Nonsense version of this thread?

Jaeret is a derivative of Jarret, which in turn is partnered with Garret. Jaeret is a most likely a Gaelic form of the spelling. The name is old english/irish and means both "spear" and "brave".

We have discovered that Vigilante makes a better Crack than Crack. I have given him free reign to answer any questions as me.
---------- Post added at 12:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:56 AM ---------- My ex-wife used to beat the ever-loving piss out of me. She thought they were cute little woman punches, but I had bruises!
