I almost posted

Hi

I am Ism, from another forum, the cage

We shut down a while back. We were a family there. Maybe not always one big happy, but a family none the less. I miss those guys. Now nothing on the net keeps my interest cept porn, even then only for 8:23 mins.

So lately I wonder what I should do with my random thoughts. Like tonight, I was thinking about the ex wife and time travel. If I could go back in time with all I know now, at that point where I knew I'd be in for the long haul, would I go for it? Course I'd word it better than that cuz I rite gud.

Honestly I only joined other forums so that some of the shit they refered to would make sense. You know ' BeBe on TFP said you were an ass' and the like.

I almost posted on a bunch of forums and they all seem the same including this one. And I'm not saying 'why should I grace you place with MY presence'

All I'm saying is

What's good?

Welcome. One of the most overlooked part of the forum is the Hall of Fame. There are a lot of gems to be found there. We all have our favorite authors, but Clavus and Giant Hamburger can always deliver a smile. Take a look. I'm curious to see that the TFP thinks is the most overlooked part of the boards (consensus seems to be that the titty broad is the least overlooked).

What's good is the community.

It's like no other that I've seen as far as forums are concerned. I'm not sure what you mean by family, but I know that here, we are quite diverse. Many of us have met in real life over the years, either because someone was passing through or visiting some far off land.

What's good about here is that we try to be able to have discussions that aren't allowed on many other forums, from sex to religion to politics. We can have heated discussions that just don't turn into flaming shitball fests that I see in many other forums. People here can actually talk about religion and politics and still share the same space respectfully.

I've come to see this place more like a mirror as of late, it reflects back to me just what I put into it.

welcome and I look forward to seeing what you can contribute here so that some day in the future someone else asks the same thing and we can point to some of your contributions to our community.

This place is about the closest you will get to have a real conversation with real people over the Internet. Stay and reap the benefits.

I'm here for the community.
Every new face means a richer conversation through a new perspective.
For selfish reasons, I hope you sit back, relax, and get to know TFP as your cyber home.

Maybe at first glance TFP does seem like the other forums you have looked at but it's not. The people here are real, and I don't mean that in a "the people you were talkign to before are not" type way or the way of meaning that you know there is another human on the other side of the keyboard. I mean that if the people on here think you're being an idiot they will tell you, if you've just made a hard decision and are thinking about it twice they will give you their unvarnished opinion on whatever the matter could be.

TFP never seems to devolve into the personal attacks that so many other forums do, people never bring up disclosures that you have made to hurt you. For example I know no one on here would ever throw the fact that I have worked as a stripper back at me to hurt me, they see beyond things like that to the person underneath and weigh each of your comments individually rather then making snap judgements.

Much in the way that you describe your other forum TFP has become a bit of a family for me, when I need emotional support or an intellectual challenge or when I just need a laugh this is the place that I go (after the other half ofcourse).

There are people on here I adore, there are people I like and there have been a few short term members that have pushed every button I have and driven me close to fits of rage and yet I still come back.

If you want a place to talk about time travel, commitment, your porn problems or regrets about past relationships this is the best place I can think of.

love to all the TFP members I don't know what I wuld do without you lot sometimes.

Other forums don't have me. Well, one or two do, but I only post on one other regularly, and TFP is the only one where I moon people over the Internet.
