I am just glad I never got arrested. I remember all the shit I pulled in highschool selling drugs, doin drugs wherever whenever. I barely made it through just to find out that I could get all A's if I tried and life is more important than a small group of drug friends. I moved out of my hometown am working towards becoming a psychologist and have a life worth living. If only I could convince some of my old friends to take a break off the drugs maybe they could get lives too.

i just graduamated this year and i don't wish i could go back to highschool. a look of the girls/ppl are really immature at my school. i was kinda antisocial but i had my small group of friends. my school admin/ football coaches gave my whole senior class the shaft. i have no respect for them at all. football coach didn't give a rat's ass about my class. can't wait till this fall so i can be with a football team that the coaches actually care for

High school is such a small thing. Unfortunately, the emotional scars run deep and some people never get over it. Also, some people peak early and high school is the greatest they will ever do.
I feel sorry for both. Treat high school for what it is...4 years trying to get along with (any number) of people just as neurotic as you are. In 10 years look back. If you still have strong feelings...get some help. |

I graduated four or five years ago, and I'm mostly indifferent, high school wasn't an especially tramatic experience for me.
That said, I have absolutely no desire to do the reunion thing, as I already hang out with the few people I'd want to see. Hell, I think there are more teachers I'd like to go visit than fellow grads..... |

I have hated school for as long as I can remember. I think high school and junior high were the worst. However, I did enough to get reasonably good grades, and learn the stuff that I found interesting.
Now, it has been 5 years since I graduated HS and I am hearing about all of these really popular people who everyone expected to be so successful. Many of them went nowhere after HS, some had horrible drug problems, others developed eating disorders, etc. All of that says to me that most of those people probably weren’t really has happy as they seemed. Meanwhile here I am, the kid who has always hated school, and I just graduated with three bachelors degrees in engineering. I guess the point is, just take HS for what it is (lame and imperfect) but get as much out of it as you can. Just because it sucks is no reason not to do your best. And when you are looking at all those people who seem to love it, and everything seems to come so easily too, remember that you may not be seeing the whole story. |

high school sucks.... college better
/obligatory as most everyone else has said i had the i dont give a shit attitude.... i had my fun when i wanted slept through class and made the honor roll..... but i suggest if you are planning to go to college try to learn something even if it is out of class, because i can basically kiss my first semister classes goodbye due to not so hot grades but once i found out i had to od something i am good now.... but everything you do is what you put into it, ya know just remember my guess is 75% high school is their life high... and will talk about it forever.... you dont want to be those people |
