well it's known to half of the people who are going (which isn't much) that I'm not gonna be there.

The sharp decrease in attendance coupled with that fact that none of the 3 people who I planned on making the trip with and planned on lodging with are no longer able to come has convinced me to sit this out.. even though I am the asshole who started it all.

Halx- "asshole" is not the word. You latched upon an idea of having a regional meet and ran with it. I, for one, loved the idea from the start, but King George's economy got in my way.

I did this at another forum once - we had regional meetings all over the world on the same day, in Crete, Belgium, 2 in England, 4 in the USA, 2 in Canada, and a few in other countries.

It was a blast, I hosted the one in San Francisco, and meeting all the people and being able to put a face to the names and handles we have here.

I will start up a thread and host a get together next summer, so if you can not make it to this, we can try for later. Please leave your late summer available, but do not reply to this post - the thread will be created when the time is appropriate.

To all of you in Vegas - bring cameras, they say what happens there stays there, but I'd still like to see :D
