lesson learned
so i bought a sick HSF for my AthlonXP3200+
what I didn't check was my mobo to see where big objects were that could get in the way...sooooo I had to bend a capacitor about 30 degrees ofset to make the unit fit. Luckily, it still powers on OK and seems to be working fine as I don't think I removed the leads from the board. so next time you are buyin some aftermarket stuff, make sure you consider all the crap that is protruding out of your mobo! |
