iTunes Questions
Allright, so i got my new ipod today and ive been vigorously uploading my cd's to iTunes, all has been going well until i mistakedly hit some odd button or did something to one of the cd's that was uploading. Normally the songs upload to iTunes in track order (like the cd) but w/e i did is making it upload almost like shuffle mode (the tracks aren't even close to the right order as they are on the cd itself) Only thing i noticed was next to the cd is an arrow that points up (im assuming this is whats causing all the songs to shuffle, i could be wrong) and then on all the other cd's the arrow is pointing to the right ( i did some screenshots so you could see what im talking about :P) but only problem is i have no idea how to change it back?!?! I could be totally off, it could be something else entirely causing this to happen but regardless someone who has any knowledge on iTunes please help me?
Thanks in advance Heres the 2 screen shots i was referring to earlier |

On a side note, the "arrow to the right" on a playlist allows you to publish this playlist on the iTunes Music Store.
The same arrow, when in the main window, takes you to the iTMS page for that artist/song/album/etc., if you want to purchase more by that artist. Also, if you hold down Shift while clicking that arrow, it will filter your library to only show songs by that artist, or that album, etc. The "up arrow" is an eject button; it works for your iPod or CDs.

BTW, I ran a little code in the Terminal to make the default, when you click the arrow, do what you listed (and then you option-click to find the tracks in the store). To do so, open Terminal and type defaults write com.apple.iTunes invertStoreLinks -bool YES then quit. Or you can install this AppleScript.

I have an itunes question...sorry for not creating a new post.
I too have just gotten an ipod, but I've had itunes for awhile. Ever since I downloaded Itunes 4.6, I cant log onto the music site on Itunes. I keep getting a connection error -3259: Make sure area connection is active and try again. I dont need itunes download music, but now that it cant log on, when I upload my cds, it cant connect to the CDDB and update the track listings. It says it cant connect to the net, but I'm logged in perfectly. Any suggestions?
