Dual Moniter Problems
Hey everybody,
I have two moniters. I use a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and I can't get the second moniter to work properly - it works fine, but certain things do not work right. For one - the screensaver only appears on one of the desktops and only a few programs work for video display on the second moniter. Also - does anyone know how to get the desktop to be seperate for each moniter, rather than just a copied desktop? (change the wall-paper so its different for both) Also - does anybody know how to use UT2K3 on the second moniter? or do i need a third? thanks -SImo

This is probably a result of the ATI drivers not installing properly. I had similar problems with my 9600 (AIW). As it turned out for me, I had to start with a fresh install of windows.
Something I've now learned about ATI cards. Their hardware is kick ASS. their drivers are absolute crap. VERY touchy little bastards, and if everything on your system isn't just so, you can forget about the card working right. |

i don't know your card, but on my nvidia i have to use their special desktop manager thingy to get different wallpapers on the two monitors. somebody else just had a thread about problems displaying video on the second monitor, have a look there (don't know if it got sorted out or not)
