Norton System Works
i went to load system works from a cd but some files didn't load
i got a msg saying uninstall and reinstall system works i went to start - cntrl pnl - add/remove no system works listed on the desk top - i click system works and it does nothing any ideas? this is on another comp - not mine - it's windows 98 |

I know when I've had a customer that is trying to upgrade norton, we have to go into the registry and take out everything that has any related keys. That usually does the trick. Of course we have a "kill norton" disk now. Anyway, open up regedit and search for anything that has anything to do with the program. That should do the trick.
Of course, you might not be comfortable with editing your registry (which is completely understandable). If not, look around on the internet and see if there are any programs that'll do it for ya.
