People are idiots
i have received about 5 of these emails and they contain about 1000 forwarded emails using cc.
i just thought it was hilarious on how people could fall for something like this! btw, it was 2 screens full so i had to merge the 2 screenshots.

Hey cool!
Oh wait: 2 screenshots? Damn I wanted a double-slider-scrollbar! More on-topic: my dumb friends choose to ignore me 'cause I haven't had such a mail in months! Yeah!

lol... I once forwarded a similar mail only about a virus (if you know it it's the hoax about the bear thingee) to everyone on my list with the explanation of what a hoax is and if they bothered me again with something like that I'd send them one of MY viruses so they'd really have something to worry about.
Never got one again... coincidentally a lot of my emails now bounce... strange... Man I was pissed that day, prob because I'd gotten mails like that all week from just about everybody.

But you see, without dumb people, computer techies would be out of a job, fixing the computers for all the people who believed the email from the president telling them to delete their C drive as a matter of national security! (Okay, so I made that one up, but I KNOW people would do it!).

I dont understand the point of starting one of these emails. And yeah, I get them all the time. Only one I ever sent around was the one based on "The Ring", cuz I wanted most of those people I sent it to to die... nyah
