can you load other pages with your DSL? are you connecting from home or work? what kind of computer are you using? what ISP are you using? do you have any content-controls set? Is there anything else you think may be important to the problem youcan tell us?

I have no problems loading other pages with the DSL line.
Since I work mostly from home, I guess that I am connecting from both. The line does not go through a network on this end. The computer is a HP, Pavillion 7965, Pentium 4, 1.7 GHZ, with 512 MB of SDRAM, 160 GB Hard Drive (total), 32 MB nVidia graphics card memory. The operating system is Windows XP Home. The ISP is Pathway Communication who provide both the dial-up and DSL line. The controls are set at default. I had no problems posting replies until Microsoft sent me an E-mail about a security fault that needed correction. I downloaded the fix and the problem started. Thanks |
