we don't allow people with some emails like aol.com yahoo.com hotmail.com because of abuse.

Define abuse Cynthetiq. People just make accounts so to piss others off? A solution that seems obvious would be to allow people that have reached certain rank to use their frequented emails. I posted this suggestion here http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=85740.

But now i have an email address that i no longer have access to in my user details and cant change it to my gmail address.
To me this seams like a strange way to deal with a problem because there are many ways to get a lot of email addresses other than gmail/hotmail/etc for example if u have a domain you've got pretty much unlimited access to email accounts, and i could go and find some free email that hasn't been banned and use that but i really don't want yet another email address to check (or remember in case of password recovery) Nether the less I guess Hal has spoken, and i respect his decision. |
