Email banned? Help
 

Was changing my email address and then I got window saying my email was banned what did I do wrong?

we don't allow people with some emails like aol.com yahoo.com hotmail.com because of abuse.

I was sad when i couldn't change mine to my gmail account :(

Define abuse Cynthetiq. People just make accounts so to piss others off? A solution that seems obvious would be to allow people that have reached certain rank to use their frequented emails. I posted this suggestion here http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=85740.

I think some people a of certain rank can and do have gmail addresses.

i have a gmail address...
but maybe they banned gmail after i signed up with it.

im using a hotmail right now :)

I'll just say that we've banned some people in excess of 10 times per week.

So your saying, that some people create 10 accounts a week, just to piss you guys off?

But now i have an email address that i no longer have access to in my user details and cant change it to my gmail address.
To me this seams like a strange way to deal with a problem because there are many ways to get a lot of email addresses other than gmail/hotmail/etc for example if u have a domain you've got pretty much unlimited access to email accounts, and i could go and find some free email that hasn't been banned and use that but i really don't want yet another email address to check (or remember in case of password recovery)
