Help -- account not working! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

My real user name is saut -- I had to register this name so that I could ask for help. About a week ago, I edited some of my account options (changed e-mail address and some other things). When I finished, I could no longer veiw threads -- I get this message:

You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Now, at the top of the page where it tells me what name I am logged in as, it says this:

Logged in: saut [logout]| Status: Awaiting Account Confirmation - Check Email

It's been over a week and I haven't received this Email confirmation yet, so I am really quite curious as to what happened and how it can be fixed. If a moderator would be so kind as to help me out, I would be very happy.

If I'm just being impatient and my account is going to be activiated eventually, how long might I have to wait?

Looks like your user status just got screwed up. Try logging in again.

I've tried many times, but all to no avail. I don't think there's really anything I can do about it.

vb2 has a problem sending e-mail confirmations after an e-mail change sometimes. (I know this because I admin a number of vbulletin forums and use to encounter it all the time)

An administrator can very easily just change your status from awaiting email confirmation to regular user.

I suggest sending a private message to one of them

It seems to be working once again, thank you so very much to whoever fixed me up!

PS, delete the sauthmm account since I won't be needing it anymore.
