Why in the blue hell would you guys remove the option of typing in all caps? I mean, really?

Okay, typing thread titles in caps is one thing (you can't do that either, apparently), but posts? Can I get mine turned back on? Is it an option somewhere?

As both a mod and book editor, I must say that I am diametrically opposed to the use of all-caps.

But, alas, I will have to defer to the judgement of an admin on this one.

I seem to recall all-caps being used occasionally, so you should be able to somehow.

I think this has been a feature since I started here at TFP. I get around this by including non-caps text in the post.

Example:

"So... TURNS OUT I HATE MAYONNAISE. IT'S THE CURSE OF THE WHITE MAN. SCREW YOU AND YOUR MAYO, WHITE BOY!"

I'm sure eventually The Man will stop me.

The ironic thing about the whole all-caps dealio? It's technically more difficult to read, when I'm quite sure people usually use it to stress their point and be "heard" better and more clearly.

They'd be better off with another style. Might I recommend selecting from one of our various font choices? Or perhaps simply a slightly larger font size? Or maybe an indentation/block quote? Let's not overdo it though.
