Can't Redistributing a Post

I've got a long post of programs in the T.Technology board, however, as I was trying to split this long post into more manageable categories along other posts of mine, I get:
Quote:
Method Not Implemented

POST to /tfp/newthread.php not supported.
Apache/2 Server at www.tfproject.org Port 80
These were taken directly from my old post, so I know they work, I haven't edited them in any way, so what the hell!

Code bin links
http://code-bin.homedns.org/87
http://code-bin.homedns.org/88

Any better place to post TXT files for free? I can't think of any and my search terms are not helping.

For some reason whatever submits posts does not like "( c m d . e x e )" without spaces.

I haven't figured out why the disc tools post wont update... any reasons folks????

Please touch this.

It's probably a new server security feature that is blocking you from submitting any code. It thinks you're trying to hack.

I'll see about easing this up.

Hack! How am I trying to hack with something like this:
  • Burrrn (*****) - "Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files. Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC’s noncompliant image + cue sheets!" Only thing I use to burrrn audio CDs (hardy har har).

This is the only element I can post, the other three don't work.

I am ignorant... but aren't we essentially just uploading text to be saved somewhere, not trying to have commands run?

Thanks for the help.

Something is wicked fucked up here. I was just testing how much of the posts were acceptable and it craps out at / . This is the most fucked up thing because when I removed the / from the bold code it works, I added the bold codes and it failed.

Software probably isn't generally intelligent enough to tell whether you are trying to hack or not... so engineered safeguards have to err on the side of caution.

... This is why I hate computers deep down. Why is the server trying to run my commands when it is there solely to take something no different than a TXT file (now referred as a book page) with its eyes closed, put it in a box, and when someone asks for it, grab that page (again with its eyes shut) and hand it to you?

And damn the assholes in this world that exist which create a need for such security!

Computers just do what they're told. But people make mistakes and may inadvertently leave security holes in code that "run" chunks of text originally intended to be displayed text on a forum.

O_o ... is that an example of when the server inadvertently runs a bit of text as code?

Kinda like my second ex and I.

This is really frustrating trying to understand why it craps out in one instance and doesn't in the other.... there isn't a pattern other than the / in places... which makes not sense as the bold codes and URL codes require / . Crap.

And I can't get that damned BAT script to work...

AND WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SMELL? I COULD HAVE BEEN AT A BARBECUE!

I just did a bit of research and apparently the forward slash is used as an escape code in Perl or something, so it may be blocked to prevent "code insertion" hacking techniques.

Any update on this?

@Halx (any admin that has super-user-Jeff-Bridges-in-Tron-like powers):

Can you just slip this code at the front of this post, I'd be much obliged.

The problem is a / after CD. It thinks I'm trying to run a change directory command?????

I think I'm going to disable the new protections in the place since they don't really help with the coding examples...

CD/DVD

DISC TOOLS

  • Burrrn (*****) - "Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files. Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC’s noncompliant image + cue sheets!" Only thing I use to burrrn audio CDs (hardy har har).
  • DAEMON Tools (*) - "DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator and is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today. The application mounts ISO images to a virtual drive without having to burn them to a CD." I use this often to mount WAVs and CUE sheets to test different audio rippers for the boss, has many applications.
  • DVDisaster (**) - "dvdisaster stores data on CD/DVD in a way that it is fully recoverable even after some read errors have developed." Really great since I am an audio buff and want to preserve my lossless CD rips for a long time.
  • ImgBurn (*****) - "ImgBurn can write most types of CD / DVD images and it supports all the latest writers (including booktype / bitsetting on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony). You can even use ImgBurn to erase / format your rewritable media!" "ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit!" I use this program all the time, it is great for ISO images, DVD video, or just plain data to DVD jobs. Supports a test feature which ensures the data you burned is bit identical to what is on your hard drive. Am I paranoid? Do I get the job done right on the first try? Yes and Yes.

HURRAY!

Thank you super-user Sty with Jeff-Bridges-in-Tron-like powers.
