I didn't even watch the game. :(
I just realized that I missed it god damnit. All I know is they lost and I'll be happy as long as Dallas gets rid of the Queens. At least I won't have to hear that the Lakers are a better team than the Bulls cause they aren't. |
man..although i hate the lakers as much as the next guy..it was tough seeing grown men cry.

Seeing Kobe cry was pathetic. It's BASKETBALL. It's not like your mom died or something. Jeez.

OK, first thing's first: I love the Lakers (well, most of them). I live in Atlanta, and no self-respecting person would cheer on the Hawks.
I don't see how anyone can prod Kobe or anyone else after having lost (or won, for that matter). To these guys, it isn't just basketball; it's a lot more than that. They aren't crying over bonuses missed or trophy spots left empty; this is something that they kill themselves for the entire year - not just during the season. As someone who's played sports his entire life, I can completely understand it, and, truth be told, I have also broken down after games. The absolute hardest thing to take is to see the biggest guy you know cry like a little girl in the middle of a football field after a championship game. Cut the man a little slack. |
