Do you see a sweep? I do
L.A. looks like a YMCA fifty year and over league team. Can you Lakers fans please ask your team to atleast make this series competitive? I would think the Lakers would want to win atleast one of these games. This is ridiculous, your team looks silly. Maybe next game you could possibly lose by 15-20 points instead of getting your ass handed to you like tonight.
Please write and tell me all about how the Lakers are just toying with the Spurs, and how the Lakers have them exactly where they want them. Maybe you could run some Phil Jakcson mind smack and tell us that the Spurs looked nervous tonight. SWEEP, SWEEP, SWEEP, SWEEP, and goodnight now..... |

I really dont see a sweep. so they were 0 for 2 in San Antonio. just wait till they get two the staples center. And no, im not a lakers fan. that's just my opinion.

Did you even watch the fourth quarter? I'm positive you didn't judging from the idiotic coments in your post. L.A. only lost by 19 and Shaq and Kobe didn't play in the fourth. I want the Lakers to lose as much as you do but they won't be swept.

I don't think there will be a sweep, but I do think that the Spurs will get it done in 5. As for the comment "L.A. only lost by 19 and Shaq and Kobe didn't play in the fourth. " I’m almost certain both were on the floor when the Spurs were up by 33 points in the third.

I've already bet out of this with a friend, i'm not going to lose my $ and L.A. is not going to get swept unless all the starters get seriously injured. L.A. still has a chance ppl, don't forget that.

No sweep. Kobe was on fire, Shaq was solid, and they got some help from a few others. Most important. They played some damn defense! Duncan was awesome as always. I love watching him play, but I'd still take Shaq over anyone in the NBA.

Hell yeah L.A. is back in the running!!! Now we just have to win on the road. And the home team winning all the games in the series doesn't help. Any see how pissed Robinson was when fouled out? I didn't see the play but I saw his reaction afterwards...

I just laugh at guys like that. I'm still not convinced that LA will make a comeback though. It's gonna depend on how well the role players play. When they do nothing the Lakers suck. |

true the role players do play a huge part, but the same could be said of any team. Thats why they are a team. Still I think it would go long way toward winning the series if we can stop Duncan or just get him to play half as well as he has.

I think that the NBA Champ will be coming out of this series. The Lakers have too much experience, and the Spurs have been on fire lately. The Kings or the Mavs might make a series of it, but they'll fall, and barring a miracle, the West will win again...

Waiting for Mr. ignorant to show up now that the Lakers lost a game.
Great game to watch. I can't belive that Horry missed that shot. He always makes those. Anyway, the series is gonna go 7. I don't think the Lakers are gonna win. |

things keep getting interesting..
it's hard to comprehend the Lakers falling short right now... i've been conditioned by 3 years of winning.

still it was an amazing run we had, coming back from that far down. i just pictured L.A. winning as soon as Horry shot the ball

true, i just lady luck shines on us the next to games, cuz all that last shot was luck on the part of the spurs, sorry but Parkers hand didn't have a thing to do with altering the shot...
Horry just didn't get it to bounce in

So any predictions for tonight? We all know the Lakers are going to win, as the NBA would never let this end without a game 7. So I'm going to say this is going to be more lopsided foul wise than game 6 of the Sac/LA series from last year was.

I wish they would just let these guys play. It reminds me of last year. The Lakers won the first game in Sacramento, and the league freaked out thinking there was going to be another ho-hum sweep, and no one would watch. So the next couple of games were given to the Kings by the refs. Then the league realized that Sacramento was a pretty good freaking team themselves and had to help the Lakers out. Game 7 was awesome because they let them play.
I hope the Lakers play a good game and arent helped by poor officiating so we can go into a game 7 where you know they will let them play. 1 game for all the marbles.

LA BABY!!!
I am so pumped! I think they've shown that if they put our hearts into it (and I mean REALLY) then they can completely dominate a game. The problem that they face is not their opponent, but their own team. Which Laker team will play tonight?
