Wow.... 1 more game and the MARLINS are world champs!, its crazy, i remember posting in the thread who is gonna win the NL wildcard, and when i or anyone else said the marlins, people must've thought we were crazy, now they are one win away from winning the world series... I knew this team was good, I knew they would beat the Giants, i was confident they would beat chicago, but i really had no idea how they would compete against the yankees, just for the fun of it i said marlins in 7, but, man Its AWSOME to actually witness this first hand.

I think no matter what results occur, win or loss for the marlins, I hope that this franchise is revived, gets a new stadium, and baseball will exist again in South Florida....

oh hell yeah sam, being from Miami I completely agree with you. A nice stadium in downtown miami would be hella nice. If we win this world series, we most likely will get a new one, so that's pretty cool.

Hell, I remember an interview with the manager who was like, "We're just happy to be in the world series, and gonna just go have fun out there". And they win, and in 6 at the yank's stadium!

Yep, that's about exactly what I said. And yes, i am indeed eating my words right now. I have to say i'm surprised the Marlins won this thing. But i'll give them their props.
